Founded by Chef Steve Brown, Swagyu aims to make Wagyu accessible for everyone. We serve two types of burgers, one is a blend of American, Australian, and Japanese A5 Wagyu. The other is an Angus Burger that still consists of 20% American Wagyu. We are one of the very few certified in the US to buy and sell True Japanese Hyogo Kobe Beef.

We went to the Poway branch and it’s located in a small plaza with lots of parking. I got the 3×3 smash burger with onion rings and the 3 stacks of patties with 3 layers of cheese was incredible. The burnt ends of the beef patty is to die for. My wife got the 1/2lb smash burger lunch special and it was a really good deal. It comes with fries and drink. Their fries were the bomb. We will definitely come back here. 5 stars and more

Chef Donald and his Crew are absolutely incredible. Some of the best burgers, fries and Shakes we’ve ever had. The brownies were actually insane, and he even hooked us up with some extras from his tasting menu to try out. Will absolutely be coming back many times in the future!

First time trying this place out, was recommended by a friend. The location is medium sized they do sell premium A5 wagyu to go as well as also various types and cuts, I got the Swagyu western bbq burger and it did not disappoint absolutely the best burger I’ve had in years, it is a little heavy considering it’s half a pound, but the flavor is off the carts. The fries are similar to potato wedges that were cooked to perfection nice and crispy edges. The staff was friendly and super knowledgeable. The burgers are a little pricey but also remember that is high quality meat so very much worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Drove all the way from Fallbrook to celebrate a birthday only to find out they’re closed. Usually, Google Maps will say if a business is closed when you start directions. Too bad the manager didn’t update info, we won’t be back.

Decided to visit the newest eatery in my neighborhood. We ordered quarter pound smashburgers and 1 order of nitro potatoes to share. The burger is slighly bigger than a slider, the bun is soft and delicious. The meat, cheese and pickles made a great combination along with the secret sauce. Seasoned just right! The seasoned nitro potatoes pair well with the sauce served on the side. They have a meat counter with selected cuts to go. Give them a try!
