The food was fresh and hot. The biscuits and gravy were VERY good. Even the scrambled eggs were great which is impressive for a buffet. Coffee was also hot and fresh. Great place to stop when your hungry and want to get full and not empty your wallet.

This breakfast buffet is a true hidden gem! They are only open Sundays and have the best breakfast. The food is to die for the staff is friendly but the best part is the history behind the restaurant. The entire place is a history museum. We love looking at all the artifacts collected. They have a whole room dedicated to WW2 memorabilia.

Some of the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I was blown away. This is a buffet, but I’ve never had a buffet that was this amazing. My grandma and family all raced at windy hollow dragway, and somehow, I never had eaten here till last Sunday. I will be back.

I went with a friend to see the “museum”. It’s just a bunch of clippings, posters etc. hanging on the walls. They have an overpriced breakfast buffet. It was ok, the biscuit was very good and the chicken. I actually had a rude woman comment that I had a lot of food on my plate. I hate buffets, I go up once and that’s it. I assure you I didn’t have that much on my plate, either way SUPER RUDE. I do have to say I never went without water. Would I ever go again, no.

The Grinder
This place is nothing short of a true gem. The history alone, inside the building, makes it a must see. The buffett is outstanding and it’s 100 pluses, in my book, because of the country ham. Our waitress has been there forever and she was a real treat. Loved everything about it. She told us they also had another place in Owensboro and we will be checking that out as well.
