My first trip to Mercurios in O’Hara was underwhelming. It has the appearance of a nice, upscale gourmet pizza pub, with an impressive, huge pizza oven.

Absolutely fantastic! The pizza is magnificent. Perfectly charred crust, somewhat acidic and ever so slightly sweet crushed tomatoes perfectly balanced by the cheese exactly as it should be. Service is great, everything is delicious, what else could one ask? All of us LOVED it. Will definitely be back and they definitely earn 5 stars.

Mercurio’s restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but the food is a higher quality than what many other casual Italian restaurants serve. Their menu includes appetizers, paninis, pizzas, pastas, and gelatos.

We usually go to the Mercurio’s on Walnut Street, first time in this location. Love it. They have an expanded menu. Service is great and food is delicious as expected.

We were thrilled to find this gem of a place. Just back recently from Italy and felt like we were back – aperol spritz, caprese, gelato. Wonderfully presented. Awesome waitress and great atmosphere.

Love the gluten-free pizza here– it’s just about the best in Pgh, in my opinion. I do carry-out from work sometimes. The only downside is that they often don’t seem to put the pizza in the oven until you get there to pick up. It does mean the pizza is hot and fresh, but it can be inconvenient if you’re rushing. My advice? Don’t rush, wait the 5 minutes. Worth it!

Mercurio’s simply has the best pizza I’ve ever had. Their ingredients are top notch and the pizza dough is fantastic. Their gelato is quite good, particularly with a cup of espresso. 5/5.

For the most part an excellent experience. The food was delicious. Service was good. Decor was nice. Price to quality was reasonable. My only frustration was with a couple presentation issues. The maraschino cherry in the Manhattan was disappointing – should be a proper bar cherry like luxardo or bada bing. And the whole olives on the pizza was annoying. Otherwise, it would be a five star meal.
