The restaurant was inside the hotel. It was very convenient for exhausted travelers after checking in to just go to this restaurant. It was good, ambience was Mexican like, server was attentive. Food was delicious but it was ordinary and forgetful.

I’m just passing through while traveling and stopped in to eat. The atmosphere was great – loved the artwork. I had an issue with the taste of the tea and asked for water instead. I was still charged for the tea and even mentioned this to the cashier. By the way, the water had the same “funk” as the tea. The ground beef needed some seasoning. No one asked how my meal was. I waited for a while after I was done eating before seeing my server again – to so he could drop off my ticket. No offer of dessert – which I would have ordered. I wasn’t impressed by the service I received.

The place is very festive. The salsa appeared home made and was good. Our waiter was friendly, but over worked. I had the 3 item combination plate with a chicken taco, beef taco, beef enchilada, rice and beans. I eat a lot of Mexican food and this was by far the worst I have ever had. We pass through here about 8 times a year. We won’t stop at Don Jose again.

I called in several times and this last time I noticed they only start cooking my food once I arrived so I’m not sure if it’s just certain people or what but definitely not dining with them again! If I called in my order that means when I get there I want it ready not wait until they cook it! They also have a bar that’s free to members only so…. Some of YOU will love it!

Great service throughout, especially Arturo. Very attentive, efficient and friendly. Food was great. Marinaded tenderloin steak burrito… fantastic. DJ’s Special…great. Marrigritas were smaller than I like, but tasty. I actually could taste tequila. Most other restaurant’s Marrigritas, not so much. I recommend stopping for a good Mexican meal.

Stayed at the Hampton Inn right down the street, so this was a bit of a convenience dinner. Not bad. Was impressed with their alcohol selection and extensive menu….almost too extensive. May be better if they specialized a little more and trimmed the menu down. Would still eat here again. No complaints.

A hidden little Mexican restaurant which is where an old hotel restaurant used to be. The atmosphere was cute, the service was good, and the food was tasty. The prices were reasonable but there were no lunch specials on the weekend – only Monday thru Friday, I tried the Steak Fijitas and they had a really great flavour! Would recommend…
