I go about 2-3 times per week. The prime rib is absolutely the best. Fish & Chips. Whatever I order it is tremendous. I’m in there so much it’s like family. Wait staff outstanding. Friendly, polite and all go above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is a great one. The atmosphere is pleasant, very clean at all times. I hate dining alone but here I come in and get greeted like family so I’m very comfortable eating alone. The portions are huge.

Where do I even begin about THIS adventure?! Our hostess was nice and that’s where the good service stopped. My boyfriend and I ordered two drinks, a water and lemonade, an appetizer of mozzarella sticks and two dinners. The mozzarella sticks were brought out on a plate with a few scraggly bits of lettuce and three of the sticks had exploded in the cooking process. Already we were off to a bad start. We waited for 45 minutes for our meals to come out. While waiting or server never came by to ask us if we needed a refill or to update us as to why the food was taking so long. During this time I watched three other tables leave. These tables were NOT cleaned up or wiped down after the patrons. Since we are in the middle of a pandemic this is absolutely unacceptable! When our food finally did arrive I did ask for another drink and our server forgot to bring it over to me again. My burger was a frozen patty and bland. My boyfriends food was salty and seemed as though it was reheated. The bathroom here is an experience all in itself and gave us a great laugh after such a terrible meal. When it was time to pay the bill, the server took my card, then walked away to another area instead of coming back over to me, started talking to herself and then brought it back over. We were perplexed. I do not recommend this place to anyone that wants good food. Go somewhere that cooks from scratch and cares about their cleanliness and how their patrons are affected or could be affected by a deadly virus. This isn’t the n place!

I been here twice. First-time fish and chips were great. Portuguese mussels were great, too. 2nd time fried seafood plate was good along with white new England chowder. Coca cola zero hard to get, but they carry it, which is a plus for me. Today I tried oreo Cake it was more chocolate than oreo, in my opinion. The food service has been great both times.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered the baked onion soup and a Philly Cheesesteak. The onion soup was really exceptional, great flavor and a good amount of stock. The Cheesesteak was very good, fresh bread and very good taste. On a scale from 0-10 o would rate this 8.6.

Frequently go to the Roast House. Brought a girlfriend yesterday who was visiting for the 1st time. She ordered the open faced turkey sandwich with mashed and was 100 percent delighted! She commented on it’s juiciness and enjoyed every bite. I had the clam roll. Tasty and would order again but it was only warm – not hot. Could have sent it back but didn’t want my friend to be waiting on me so kept my mouth shut also the clams were skinny and a bit sandy – not bad. I still enjoyed it. The Roast House is a family oriented restaurant. 1st time for lunch. Just a nice, home cooking (no clean up) comfortable place to go Try it
