This was a unique experience! I’m not sure if it was the time of day that we went, but the vibes here were different! Our service was pretty standard. Although we got the wrong pizza with our order, they remade the proper one for us without hesitation. I enjoyed the Ricotta pizza!

I just did a take out order, and to write a review this fast, must really say something about this place! Ordered online, super easy not a problem! When I got their the manager pick up my pizza, opened it to check if it was the right pizza and that it was done correctly, then he closed it, and was about to give it to me, but then he saw that was custom ordered with pineapple on, so he took it back, opened it again, just to make sure that everything was as it should be, and it was! One of my biggest pet peeves is when restaurants are in such a rush, that they just want the food out of the door as fast as possible, that they don’t care about quality control!

Pies and Grinders always hits the spot! The pizzas are great and you get a choice of NY thin or pan. I like the thin, personally. All the sandwiches are great! The salads are big and always fresh. The surprise though, is how good their wings are. Most pizza places have average wings, but they have some of the best wings in town. Great atmosphere with live music on Friday and Saturday. Large patio area as well. Definitely need to try them out!

This place was awesome. Sausage has a unique flavor, not some bland kind like most restaurants. The large pie is huge! Easily feeds 4. Went on a Sunday afternoon and there was no one inside. We were well taken care off by the staff. Place is super clean. Top 5 pizza places in El Paso county. Will be back to try a grinder and some wings.

We went to Pies and Grinders for dinner and it was quite good. Wife got a supreme pizza and liked it. I had their Stromboli and loved it. Plenty of meat and cheese. The pepperoni and sausage was very good as well as the crust. Their marinara was much better than average. Good place and will definitely be going back again and again. I do have one suggestion for this place though. The Stromboli should come with a larger bowl of HOT marinara. That little “to go” cup isn’t enough. I asked for more and got a second tiny cup but it was COLD. That won’t stop me from going back for more of that Stromboli though. Good place. I DO recommend this place to others.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE pies! So much flavor and they were just absolute perfection! The wings were moist and flavorful and the garlic cheesy bread was gooey and so satisfying. This is 100% our new go to for pizza. After this experience there’s no going back to any other pizza spot..10/10 recommend you give them a try!

Food was good but SUPER slow service. Went for dinner, ordered two pizzas and some fries. Got the fries pretty quick (maybe 5 minutes) but the pizza took forever. Seemed like an hour, but was probably more like 30 minutes after we got the fries.

Exceptional pizza. Best in the area. True NY style pizza. Delicious sauce, cheeses. Fast service in the afternoon (off hours). Excellent meat pizza – lots of delicious sausage. Highly recommend. We will be back!

This was a clean and well-lit place with good service. It’s not quick, but the place has a boisterous charm to it. However, the pizza was not impressive. Which was a shame because I really wanted to like it. The sauce and cheese were good, the pepperoni was not as good as Marco’s but not bad, and the crust wasn’t bad. I can’t really fully explain why it didn’t work, except for whatever reason it didn’t come together. I would say this an okay, middle ground pizza.

My wife and I decided to support a local Colorado Springs business and we heard great things online about this place. We made an online order for carry out and the place was visibly busy outside which is a great first sign to see! The order took a little longer than the pickup time, but everyone was very nice and our pizza and mozzarella sticks were both hot and smelled fantastic.
