Probably closer to 3.5 stars, but that isn’t an option. Clean restaurant, with a polite wait staff. The restaurant has the typical menu that most of the Mexican restaurants in the area have, nothing too exciting or innovative. The food was pretty good, but a touch bland and salty- I wish it had more pronounced flavors of spice, lime, cilantro, cumin, ect. The carne asada was cooked well, which was a plus. The cocktail was way too sweet for my taste, but that is just my personal preference.

Why would anyone go to a fast food restaurant when you can eat this delicious, fresh, and authentic food for under $10?! I ordered the chicken street tacos and they were amazing! There was a ton of Grilled chicken and pico inside. They were also the largest street tacos I have ever had. When you dine in you get bean dip, chips, and salsa with your meal. My order was $9.50 before tax. I could eat here every day! If you haven’t tried chapala, try it today! Don’t wait!

Amazing customer service. I have an onion allergy and they were able to recommend several items. We had the Asada Nachos with black beans. Our son had the enchillad rancheros special. The nachos are Large enough serving to fill my wife and I up. Super clean, very clean. GREAT food! Will be back!! Thank you to this great local business

Great place for lunch. Not only was the food great but the staff was very friendly. This was my first experience eating and chapala and it won’t be my last! The place was packed so I was concerned it might take a while for my food to be ready but to my surprise my food was out very quickly. The parking lot isn’t ideal but the food is worth it 🙂
