The food is not the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. My family found this place on our way back to New England and to be honest I probably would not come back. I give it 3 stars because it isn’t horrible food but I have definitely had better Mexican food than this. The service was fine, bathrooms were perfect. Just lacked flavor.

Visited on 5 July 2015 (Sunday) @ 1240 with a party of six (three adults/three kids). Walked in to the restaurant and there wasn’t anyone working the host/hostess stand. Five minutes of waiting and finally someone comes over asking for how many in the party and directs us to our table. The restaurant wasn’t even 1/5 occupied and the unnecessary wait to get seated/acknowledged should’ve been our clue to immediately turn around and leave. We were seated in a corner booth and served salsa/chips within three minutes. We watched as patrons that arrived after us were attended to and served beverages and appetizers while we were abandoned in the corner of the restaurant. No water, no drinks, no food, no waiter/waitress and NO apologies after 15 minutes forced us to get up and leave. No one even came over to ask us why we were leaving…I guess Mi Hacienda doesn’t need the business of Bowie residents!! I always try to patronize our local establishments but Mi Hacienda has been permanently crossed off my list. Thanks for keeping my hard earned money in my wallet!

Absolutely LOVED it. Enjoyed the alcoholic beverages as well as the food. The Carne Asada is my favorite. The fried cheesecake dessert was amazing. I am a frequent visitor and definitely recommend it.

Impeccable service every time I have come here. Chips and salsa are great. Some items on the menu are hit and miss, but for a Mexican restaurant in Maryland, it’s pretty good.

Great service and food. Being there on Cinco de Mayo I felt they served all the tables at a very quick pace without losing their great customer service. All the employees seemed to have worked together very well as a team!
