Dressing had too much sage. Our seats were terrible, just a view of nasty dirty dishes. Servers weren’t very friendly. it isn’t worth 17.99 with just one buffet bar. Dessert just sit out to get breathed over. Definitely seen better days. Needs an upgrade

I have passed this place a million times & never stopped in. Decided to stop in one day. It was a slow day for em so, that was good for us(it is a buffet). My time there I noticed….The place was dated. The buffet was smaller than I expected. For such a big building vs how small the buffet was, was a surprise to me. But the food on the buffet was freaking amazing. Home cooked style buffet. I was stuffed when I left. The dozens of cakes, pies & cobblers did me in. The atmosphere was nice & old. I would recommend going at least once. If your older, maybe more. It just seems like that’s where the older generation go for a good meal. I didn’t ever go bc it’s next to “the hood” but I think I’ll stop in again sometime.

This is my second time hear, I was going threw traveling again and wanted to return. This time I have to say I wasn’t impressed. The deserts wernt good cake was dry bread pudding isn’t at all what I call bread pudding. The fried claims were hard I choked and didn’t eat anymore of them. Mac and Cheese taste like it is not home made. This isn’t like it was last year when I stopped. Servers were very nice.

One of the best buffets around!! Big Ed is always there making people feel welcome to his business. He is a great business owner. The food is top notch and the service is too. Our family comes here often. We love the food and everything about this place. I highly recommend it.

How did I not know about this place?!? The food is delicious!! Clean restaurant & pleasant staff. The owner even walked around checking on tables to make sure everyone was enjoying their lunches. Don’t forget to take your church bulletin to get a 15 percent discount on Sundays. And you better not take an outdated bulletin because that will surely land you straight in hell. Go to church, take the bulletin and head to Big Eds!

We sure lucked out when we stumbled on Big Ed’s on our way back home to Missouri from a vacation to eastern Kentucky. The food was amazing, the service friendly and helpful, and it was reasonably priced for an all-you-can-eat-buffet. If we are ever in the area again, I know where we will all be eating!!

I don’t much like southern food, so for me to really like this is saying something. I was highly impressed by it all, the Mac n cheese was amazing, collard greens amazing, mashed potatoes amazing, best hash brown casserole I’ve ever had, I have never ever had piece of catfish I like, but the seasoning in the catfish here made it amazing. The chocolate cake was outstanding tasted just like what I had as a kid at my great grandmothers. 10/10

This was our first time eating at this restaurant and it was delicious. We did the buffet and we couldn’t have been more pleased with it. We will definitely go back. Everything was great and the people were very nice and friendly.
