Best Barbecue in the area… will , I wish it was closer to me, I live in Arlington, and still drive there for their food. The owner is awesome, him and his wife are really nice. You have to try their Pico De Gallo. It is to die for. Love this place.

I drive by this place several times a day so I was always curious to try a new place. Initially I thought the “699” on their window was some kind of lunch special but it turns out that was simply half of a phone number because one of the panels of glass with the rest of the phone number on it was broken and they haven’t re-painted it yet. But on to the food – – I ordered the brisket sandwich which had a very attractive price. It was very good! He put so much meat on this thing that it was overflowing and the meat fell off every time I picked up the sandwich. The only thing I would have changed is that they should scrape some of the fat off the main brisket before they slice it. Other than that, I was thoroughly impressed. You should definitely try it. The photo reflects prices as of Sept. 2022.

This was my first visit to Texas Smokehouse Bar-B-Que. The have daily specials for $13.95 which includes drin and two sides ( or a baked potato). They have a very nice dining room and helpful staff. There are free refills on tea.

Food was ok. I was a little disappointed because I didn’t get the smoked taste I was craving. My coworker pointed out that we didn’t smell any smoked aroma while we were inside. I don’t normally eat barbecue sauce because I like to taste the flavor of the meat, but I considered it this time. I just seasoned it to my liking since I was hungry and ordered the baked potato and scarfed it down.

Went there at lunch (red flag one ) only 2 people eating (red flag two – sorry but orientals can not cook Texas BBQ idk if they were trained by the pitboss at Dickey’s it’s not the same ) the meat was dry and crumbling . The sauce and veggies all tasted like it was out of a can . Prices were too $$$. Value size I guess it was alright as there was plenty of meat on my sandwich. Probably not going back .

We’ve eaten here on and off for many years and it’s always good. I have dietary restrictions now so we have bbq once in a while compared to once a week 🙁 However, We ordered several pounds of brisket for a party and everyone asked where it was from. It was juicy and chopped to perfection. The only small thing I noticed is that other places we’ve ordered from throws in a side of pickled veggies, onions, etc especially when you order a lot. They said they don’t. They’re very kind & accommodating. We will definitely order again for our parties.

It was somewhat ok at best. Not sure why they call themselves “Smokehouse” cause I don’t see any smoke on the brisket. I got the 3 meat plate with 2 sides and a large drink and it was almost $20. The meat is really dry. Never again.

If I could give half a star I would. Absolutely the worst! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere! The bbq sauce tastes like tomato sauce. The guy in front didn’t realize we spoke Spanish and told the other lady that the next batch of bbq sauce was burnt. The brisket had ZERO and I mean ZERO flavor!!! Fries where bland and I think they mistakenly put sugar instead of salt in the Mac and cheese!!

The BBQ is on par with most other joints I visit; I was most impressed with the service Tony provided. He is a man with passion and a servant’s heart! They are not open Sunday, but he showed up to prepare the meal I ordered for 15 people. It is a clean establishment and the prices are fair.

I honestly wish I had gone to Ten50 right down the road. It’s pricier, but worth it.
