It’s Saturday around 3:30 p.m. decided to visit after a few years of not being in the area and greatly disappointed. Hubby threw his out and I tried to capture the rice appear and taste a few days old. Plantains hard and dried out.

Came in on a Saturday at around 11:45 and there were already a few people ordering takeout. To start, we had an alcapurria (fritter) to share. The flavor was good but I wish there was more pork filling inside and that it was a little less oily. I ordered the Cuban, which they said would take 10-15 minutes. My BF had some plate of rice and pork (premade) with plantains. Both are pretty large portions and we were only able to eat half. He said his dish was pretty greasy. I tried it and it wasn’t bad but I’m glad I got my Cuban.

The rice and beans are amazing!! So much flavor. The pork was nice and soft. All this food for 9 dollars. Went back for lunch for the rest of the week. Highly recommended spot. Also try their empanadas!

They must have new owners or a new cook. I ordered food for an event . Two large trays of mixed rice and a large tray of yuca and onions it was all tasteless and hard. and no one touched it. Money down the drain !

The pasteles had no taste. They were pale looking. 1 of them wasn’t well cooked. The alcapurrias were pure oil. This restaurant must have new owners. Never again.

I RATHER COOK MY FOOD AT HOME. They charge full prices and skimp on the meat serving size. I won’t be surprised if they did their own reviews. Also, the service is HORRIBLE ! !

I used to love going to this restaurant unfortunately that has not been the case since they change owners/management. The food is tasteless, empanadas were oily and overall the food does not taste like Puertorican food. They really should have kept the original chef. They should really start putting some adobo and sofrito in their food and get a Puerto Rican chef. I mean I love Dominican food but not out of a Puerto Rican restaurant.
