Walking in with Daughtry singing The Who’s songs from back in the day, when I lived on the south side, was perfect. When I placed my order for a Chicago dog all the way, I was asked with a sly grin if I wanted ketchup… Of course I had been talking loud in my Chicago accent since I hit the door and I replied to the ketchup question, “Sacrilege!” And everyone busted out laughing as if I passed the test.

Had a really good Chicago Italian beef sandwich loaded with cheese. The bread was very soft and perfect for the sandwich. It also had giardiniera on it which provided a nice spicy crunch. The fries were cooked to perfection too.

If you like and I mean all different kinds then Skoogies is the place to be .. They have the best french fries I think in town of Mount pleasant they are a small family owned business and I’m pretty sure they’ve been there for a while their food is very outstanding price is very reasonable and they were not too busy at the time I was there
