Went here for a quick weekday lunch with a friend and it was such a delight. we had the peashoot salad (so simple yet refreshing) and the spicy noodles with shrimp (so fresh) and a side of roti (SO buttery). everything was delicious and the staff were great. would definitely come back!

I really like every dish I ordered. The pea sprout salad is light and perfectly balanced. The roti curry sauce is the best in its kind. The other 2 dishes also have masterfully blended sauces. A solid 5 star with no doubt. Will definitely go back.

I picked up my pal Fortnoy Leer up on Broadway Terrace where he has his summer house, and we went to the Teni East Kitchen for some Asian Fusion dishes. Fortnoy told me about a new commuter turboprop his company is building that will be quite the scream…his words, not mine, but I let it slide because he’s Canadian.

Pea shoot salad (3.75 out of 5): The menu said this is Teni’s signature salad. For what it is, it’s good, with light fresh pea shoots and a light dressing. But since in general I love Tea Leaf salads, I would probably not pass it up for pea shoots next time. I generally like robust salads with everything but the kitchen sink in it. The pea shoots is more of a light and fresh salad.

The vegetable coconut curry was delicious. So were the Teni noodles! The only (mild) complaint was that there wasn’t a lot of chicken in the noodles. Regardless, delicious. The food was heavy but I couldn’t stop eating. There were so many other things on the menu that I wished I could have ordered! I hope to go back.

This place is awesome! Great atmosphere, delicious food, vegan and gluten free options. The Roti is some of the best I’ve ever had (vegan, not gluten free). Drinks were on point. Will be coming here more often from now own. No patio seating/no dogs.
