Seen this place from mill avenue several times so decided to stop by and try it out. We parked at the first parking lot. Kept following signs that said entrance until we opened a door only to find some offices. Clearly this wasn’t a restaurant so we circled back around mill avenue on foot through a filthy urine scented corridor only to arrive to a locked fence. We really wanted to try this place out so we jumped the 4 foot fence looking for an entrance. We found it along with a note that said they were not open for business during lunch hour only dinner. Horrible experience.

My brother and I hit this place up randomly on a Friday night around 8:30, and it was a great experience! There was some excellent live mariachi music, and a couple of huge birthday parties made the place lively and noisy (in a great way). We ordered a plate of red and a plate of green enchiladas, and shared. Neither were very spicy, but both had wonderful (and very different flavors). Specifically the green sauce had some FANTASTIC green chile flavors. I will definitely be returning here to try other meals! I’ll probably come back on Friday night too, just to enjoy the music!

Food is so good! Ordered the chicken nacho supreme, and it was a lot! Definitely worth it.

The family that operates the restaurant are awesome. We are greeted with hugs and smiles all the time. We love the food! The music is great and a great atmosphere. We go there at least 2 to 3 Fridays a month.

The mariachi band was great…..but the enchilada sauce was a disaster. The worst sauce we had ever tasted – bitter and bland. All the other dishes were edible, pretty decent. The service was slow due to the restaurant being under-staffed. We may have gone on a bad night…. It could be a nice Friday evening if you love mariachi music and don’t order the enchiladas.

Had an event there. Not kid friendly. Staff is rude and beer is super expensive. Had to go next door for beer specials. Food had no flavor and the chips served with the salsa where stale. This place to rent is too expensive for what you get or dont get. Although the venue has a good layout, they need to work on customer service.

Originally we had a party of 10 and we were supposed to eat at another Mexican restaurant across the street, but that restaurant could not accommodate our large party. So I called Cervantes and spoke with Grace and she told us they could accommodate our large party and would take care of us. Grace had our table ready for our large party and we had EXCELLENT service from Grace throughout the night. Mariachis music started at 7pm and dinner was lovely. We were celebrating my father’s birthday and Grace made sure it would be special. She had the Mariachis sing Happy bday in Spanish and English and she bought out candles for our cake along with plates and utensils.

There nothing remarkable or even great about this place. Food was bland, boring, it didn’t taste fresh… Not impressed, just meh.

I went here for a asu music class assignment for the live band. Needless to say the band was only real decent part. The food comes out at random times, the 13 dollar food plates could not fill my 7 yr old. They charge an 18 percent tip for parties of 5 or more and the service does not exist. The waiters screwed up 2 of our 5 orders . Ultimately if you want music sure to have fun. But food wise hit another restaurant you will regret going here.
