The newest addition to the Hollywood Broadwalk. It’s the last bar/restaurant on the southern end of the broadwalk. It’s very quiet and peaceful here. The location is wonderful if you want to spend some time at the beach, but you want to get away from the noisy crowds of Hollywood. There is outdoor seating with beautiful views. The menu is very simple. Primarily tacos. However, they are delicious.

I had the pleasure of eating at this eatery in the last week. Our family loved everything on the menu. Personally, I was a huge fan of the nachos and the shrimp casadilla. The chips had a fantastic seasoning which made a simple appetizer a tantalizing-taste sensation. The service and atmosphere was spot-on. I would highly recommend checking out this amazing eatery as you visit the Hollywood Beach area.

Nice quiet spot with decent food on the south end of Hollywood broadwalk. I had the grilled shrimp taco, chips & salsa and 2 beers. Tip is added in-so total bill was $30. $14 in beer, $5.50 taco, $5 for chips and salsa- the rest was tip and taxes.

First time in Hollywood,FL and first stop was food. Saw the reviews online and decided to give The Mermaid Queen a shot and it didn’t disappoint. The ceviche was great… I suggest providing saltine crackers! The tacos all variety were delicious and the grilled shrimp quesadilla was delicious as well. Overall a great place and it’s walking distance from the beach! Enjoy everyone!

I seldom review places, but I was here on business and decided to come check out the restaurant. It was next to a motel that I was staying at on the beach. It’s a new restaurant that just opened recently and the inside of the restaurant is still not open but they are serving out on the patio. I ordered the ceviche from the appetizer menu, and I have to admit it was one of the better ones I have ever had. They made it with tilapia and shrimp, and the marinade was just the right amount of lemon, but not to tart. I also had the pork taco, and it was very moist and delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant. The views and the food make it a winner.

The decorations and paintings were beautiful. Our server was very attentive, and we didn’t have to wait long for anything. But the highlight was definitely the food. There were 4 of us that all got something different, and it was absolutely delicious. The Baja style burrito had so many different flavors that were magical together. Definitely recommend eating here!

My friend and I came here after a thunder storm and it was so peaceful watching the drizzle amongst the sea. Blas gave us great service and we had delicious mojitos and steak tacos with a side of corn on the cob. Most definitely recommend the gorgeous Mermaid Queen to everyone. Thank you.

This spot is a gem! Great ambiance, and delicious food. Our server, Sarah, was fantastic. The owners even came over to check on us and make us feel welcome. The shrimp tacos are my favorite, but everything is absolutely delicious, and they have amazing house made hot sauces for some extra zing. We will be regulars here for sure!
