While I don’t think I’ll ever find a replacement for Sarku, this is better than some of the other teriyaki grills I’ve had at shopping malls. I’ve found that even though they all have the same menu essentially there is a difference in quality. Their food is pretty good and with the extra chicken it’s enough for leftovers. The side sauce(like a yum yum sauce) helps a lot and I would ask for extra teriyaki sauce on top. I also recommend upgrading to the noodles.

They took what almost 25 minutes to make my food? They pile up all of the orders and don’t finish them until that one thing is ready. It was my first time ordering from them since I got job at fashion valley, and of course I had a 30 minute lunch break. I then only had 7 MINUTES to eat. Its very frustrating. I got there pretty early like two people in front of me and it took them so long to make the food. I had to tell them can I get my food now? It’s piled up and they weren’t doing anything with it. The food was decent, but not worth the wait.

I used to love Sarku so I decided to give this place a try. I asked for vegetables only with the teriyaki chicken. The chicken was hard and chewy and I found quite a few pieces of gristle. The “vegetables” was mostly a very al dente cabbage. And, they charge you extra for sauce – Sarku always gave extra of their delicious teriyaki sauce if you wanted and they had a whole bottle of Siracha sauce on the counter for you to take as much as you wanted. I think I am being generous with a rating of 2.

False advertisement. I ordered it online for pick up, to get my card stamped. Get there to be told that I can’t get it stamped. It will be the last time we buy. That’s wrong cause I went there to pick it up. I understand if it was Postmates/Uber eats/ door dash but it wasn’t. I walked all the way to the food court to get it to get denied. False advertisement. I’m done with this place.
