Stopped by to pick up a to go order as I’ve been meaning to try the place since it’s highly rated on Google Maps, and the ratings were correct. My lemongrass chicken entre was delicious! Perfectly flavored and a nice portion. The staff were very polite, and I will definitely be back to dine it. It’s shameful what the city of Seattle has allowed happen to this neighborhood, with rampant open air drug sales/use and unchecked crime, but hopefully these great small businesses will survive. Delicious!

Excellent food (my dish was no.48 with egg noodles), truly authentic Vietnamese soup noodles; shrimp rolls surprised me the most as it not only had BBQ pork inside, but the roll were actually warm when served and the wrapping were soft too, which means that they DID NOT get stored in the fridge for a long time before they were served, something that you don’t see often in Oregon.

04/19/23: I had a chance to come back with my gf. I got the “Bun Mang Vit” and she got “Bun Thit Nuong”. Everything was delicious and tasteful. The owners are attentive, friendly, and hospitable to us. This becomes one of my Vietnamese go-to places in Seattle. I hope their business is going well

I really wanted to enjoy this place and had heard good things but I just can’t give it more than 3 stars. First off, parking is awful. Parking lot has tiny spots that a car can barely fit in. There is a parking garage below but it’s $15/hour which is a ridiculous price at 12th and Jackson. Had to let wife out and then park car because couldn’t find room in parking spot to get doors on both side open. Finally got inside and service was pretty poor and the table was sticky. Once we got our food the actual food was very good. Perhaps this is a good take out spot and not somewhere to go and eat out. I won’t be returning because there are other nearby spots that are more enjoyable to visit but if someone brought me food from here I would happily eat it.

If you’re in the mood for some delicious Vietnamese cuisine, Hương Bình is the place to go. The broken rice with pork is definitely a standout dish – it’s absolutely delicious. However, I will say that the restaurant itself could be a bit cleaner. Our table was sticky and the area around us was a bit shady. But during the day it’s perfectly fine. The staff is friendly and overall it’s a great place to eat.

There are so many great family-run restaurants in this area, and this is another great example of classic International Cuisine, Vietnamese specifically, done well. The service is incredible and the dishes are fresh with great prices. You feel like you are family when you go in there, they always want to take care of you. ask for the recommendation of the owner, and tell them you are an adventurous eater. ENJOY!
