The food was undeniably delicious and authentically prepared, accompanied by friendly staff. However, the dining environment had two flies flying around, and the waiting time was longer than expected due to limited staff. If you’re a fan of Korean cuisine and can overlook these issues, give this restaurant a try for its delicious flavors and friendly service.

Gopchang Bokkeum is $30 and it is NOT GOOD. No yam noodles like in the photos, small portion, not spicy, intestines are over cooked. Jjajjangmyun sauce is watered down – not much black bean jjajang taste at all. $17.99 and they don’t even provide yellow radish as side banchan. Overall I would not order from this place again.

The restaurant is pretty small with limited seating and while dining I’ve seen them turn away multiple parties. They’re severely understaffed with two ladies running the orders, waiting on tables, clearing tables, and doing take out orders. When dining in, they will only stop by to bring you menu, take orders, bring food, and bring the check.

Went here twice and it was just okay. Came here on 12/18 at 12:30pm with a girlfriend and was seated immediately. I do like that each table has a button that we can press to get our server’s attention when we are ready to order. Upon seating, they served us tea immediately. Food came out fairly quickly.

I really wanted to like this place based on the menu offerings, but it was WAAAAAAAY TOO SALTY. The side dishes were fine, the seafood pancake was fine, the bibimbap was ok, but both soups were soooo salty that I could not finish the broth. The cabbage kalbi soup as a lunch menu item had barely any veggies/meat, and the broth was just way too salty. Normally, I love broth and I would drink everything (and not eat any rice) but here, I could only take a few spoonfuls and I had to eat the rice to even out the saltiness. To give some credit, the seafood pancake was on the decent side compared to other places I’ve tried as it had a bit more seafood… but for $20 I wasn’t blown away or anything. Again, I really wanted to like this place but we would probably not return. Friendly service but with only one server, we were never checked on during our meal (which is fine bc we didn’t need anything).

This wasn’t the best first impression we could’ve had. I had really high hopes coming here tonight. It’s really clean inside and a really homey feel to it. There were sounds of a busy kitchen and the scent of sesame oil was all throughout.

Absolutely delicious food with fast service. We went at 8 pm on a week day after a long drive and had a great meal. Prices may seem high at first glance, but the value is amazing. Great for the hungry group of friends!

Great food and great atmosphere. Hidden mom-pop restaurant in Beaverton and the foods were super authentic. I especially love the side dishes

We accidently found this place and were glad we did! It had a mom and pop fell to it. We were seated right away. I had the dumpling soup, which was super nommy and I was surprised to have finished, it was so big! My friend was also pleased with whatever spicy thing he got that I didn’t try. There were three large groups while we ate. The food took a bit to come out, but the atmosphere was comfortable and waiting wasnt a problem. There was a button to call a server over, but we never used it except to place our order. To pay, we just walked up to the register.
