After passing by for a while I decided to stop by today. I’m glad I did. They have a food court style hot and ready section. One member of my party elected for this. She got the General Tso’s chicken with green beans and noodles. No complaints. I ordered the Mongolian beef with fried rice, Crab Rangoon’s, and Egg Drop soup to go. All were excellent the Rangoon’s had excellent crunchy wonton and the filling was perfect; they provided sweet and sour as a dipping sauce for these. The Mongolian beef was delicious had an excellent rich sauce and was very fresh. The tables were nice and clean also! The egg drop soup had an excellent rich flavor. I highly recommend them if you are on Perdido Key and looking for a close Chinese option.

My god. I’ve literally never been to leave a review. I’m going to sound like a complete Karen but I must. All I wanted some General Tso’s chicken. Oof. But it tastes that I’m wondering if it was made yesterday. It’s so mushy! I feel sick eating this. The glaze has permeated into the chicken, making it soft and malleable. When you pull it apart its all one color inside. It tastes so old and bland. What have I done. Even the lo mein and rice taste similar, like they’ve been sitting under the heat lamp for the past day and a half. At least I didn’t spend much money getting it. But still. It was pretty gross. In the end I had no other options, I literally tried two other places before this which were both closed.

Food was ok. The guy behind the counter was really nice. They did get my order correct and it was a lot of food. I ordered Crab Rangoon and they were huge and stuffed well. The imperial chicken ok.

Some of the best food you’ll find in Pensacola, Period. I’ve not lived in Pensacola for years but still think about their food. The Mild Chicken Wings, Honey Chicken, Orange Chicken, Orange Beef, Schezwan Chicken are all amazing. Worth a try.

Great takeout Chinese food! Very quick and delicious tasting. The service was also very friendly. I ordered the chicken and broccoli. It’s inside of the shell gas station and I got it to go.

REALLY really good!! Someone told me about how good this place is, and they were absolutely right. Otherwise, I would have never dreamed of ordering Chinese takeout from a place inside a gas station! I highly recommend you give it a try.

Very disappointed in the food this time. We had ordered from Hong Kong Express when we visited Perdido Key 3 years ago and loved the food then. I don’t know what changed, but it wasn’t the same at all. We ordered Hunan Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, both with fried rice, and an order of fried dumplings, as they didn’t have fried wontons on the menu that we’re used to ordering when we get Chinese take out. First of all, the guy who took our order wasn’t at all friendly. I think he also ran the cash register for the gas station part of the business, so a lady who had come to pick up her order and ourselves, who were looking at the menu there, had to wait awhile until he came back. We took our food back to our condo and right away I knew it was unlike any Hunan Chicken I had ever had – and I’ve had it from all kinds of Chinese restaurants. The sauce was sour tasting. Just really odd. My husband’s beef & broccoli seemed to have the same sour sauce. The fried dumplings tasted like they had been fried in too hot, old oil and the sauce that came with them was thick like used motor oil rather than the sauce that normally comes with steamed or fried dumplings. It didn’t taste right at all. Needless to say, we won’t be going there again on our next trip to Perdido Key.
