Man!!! BBQ so good you WILL come back. I had “The Hillbilly” (bbq chicken). My buddy had the ribs! They fall right off the bone. Great service, friendly and attentive. Location is right next to I 25. Parking available, and you can gas up across the street. Great rustic decor.

Softest pulled pork I have ever had! The banana pudding is to die for! I was skeptical of the 5 stars but have been proven wrong. I will be going back!

Stopped by on our way back home to Austin, Texas. Having spent some time living in the northeast, we hadn’t really had any good bbq in a long time. So, we had a craving for it. Saw that this place had 5 stars, decided to give it a shot, and we were absolutely overjoyed. Please do not let the appearance of the joint sway your decision. Inside, you will find some of the most authentic barbecue in the region. Brisket was perfect, my girlfriend got the ribs, and they were definitely on point. Give it a shot; you will not be disappointed!

The best bbq we have ever had…..and we’ve eaten alot of brisket. After reading the reviews, and being native Texans, we knew we had to stop in to see if you could really have legit Texas bbq in Colorado. Hands down, this is the best bbq joint we’ve ever come across. The brisket was so tender and smoky. Best brisket we’ve had in our long lives. Sausage was amazing. The sides were all great…..jalapenos in the beans is a nice touch.

Frontier BBQ’s meats are on point. My wife’s chopped brisket sandwich was delicious. I ordered a sampler with chicken, sausage and ribs. Everything had excellent smoke. The ribs were perfectly done; not tough, not mush. I really enjoyed the sausage. Of our sides the bbq beans and mac and cheese (our girls’ dinner) were our favorite. The bathrooms could use a remodel. The service and food made up for it. They even gave us an extra side after we paid because they originally thought they were out. Thanks. We’ll see you again.

Stopped in on our way from Denver to Amarillo on April (Friday) 13th. Being from Texas we know good BBQ and this didn’t disappoint. Brisket and sausage were good as was the loaded potato. The staff was from Ft. Worth, Texas so it makes sense they knew what they were doing. Very nice guys and treated us well. Highly recommend and will stop in next time we are in the area.

The BBQ meat here is yummy and worth the stop! The meat on the ribs was smoked with great flavor and peeled off the bone. Just the thought of it makes me hungry again. The sweet tea was fresh and tasted perfect.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I never doubted the food was great, having had some of the cook’s BBQ elsewhere. But the location was odd so I hadn’t tried it yet. Don’t judge a book by its cover. The place was interesting decorated, the workers pleasant, the clientele nice, and the food great!
