We attended Ocean Harmony for a birthday celebration. Overall, we enjoyed the service and the food was ok. However, at the conclusion of our dinner, we were asked about increasing our tip even after tipping very well. Unfortunately, we will not return because of that.

Unfortunately the restaurant before this that was opened for years and had great business was closed down recently and now Ocean Harmony took its place. The dishes were quite flavorful and service was pretty good. I feel Ocean Harmony couldn’t quite live up to its former self because it was lacking in everything, from the flavor to the decor to the service. It was a really disappointing dinner. All the dishes came out bland and unoriginal. The service was okay but staff could have been more attentive. The decor is exactly the same as the previous restaurant and barely anything changed.

I have been throwing so many parties here and the food, management, and prices get worse everytime. Just recently had another party and the lady that works at the counter is so rude. I tried to change an entree that came w a package and she didnt like that it was being changed when i was told i could change it when i deposited for the karoke room. They also say its byob but its limited to only 2 bottles and you cant even bring in your own case of beer or soda unless money talks. This establishment is terrible. They definitely lost me as a customer. Definitely will be finding a new karoke w dining soon.

We came to Ocean Harmony for Karaoke and good food. When we arrived, our waiter did not escort us to our room and instead grumpily pointed to where it was. From the very beginning the waiter was not friendly. We then found a random person in our room who was from a different party.

Terrible food overly used msg and pricey. You’ll get better food at a takeout spot in Kensington. I took 3 bites each out of 4 dishes my bill came out to $96? And I already felt bloat but still hungry. I ended still paying and just gave the food to the homeless. I hope he at least ate it, it wouldn’t blame him if he threw it out either.

Fresh, Tasty and FUN! I have a new “go-to” spot when I am craving authentic Chinese food at a reasonable price. I travel to Philadelphia often for business. This last go-round I was taken to Ocean Harmony on Race Street. First thing I noticed was just how fresh the protein dishes (especially seafood) happened to be. We ordered several dishes to share family-style. My ABSOLUTE favorite was the steamed crab over sticky rice. In fact my recollection of that dish is making my stomach growl in hunger as I type this review. The service was spot-on, non-rushed and beyond friendly. Of course the karaoke in the private room was great fun. Sure I sing like one of those steamed crabs but what the heck……it is about good food, good friends/family……and FUN! Very reasonably-priced and open fairly late as well. LOVED Ocean Harmony!

The food is top five BEST in China Town! Flavor and authenticity is spot on! Very expensive if eating alone but as a group it’s great! Go with many people and have a blast. Small an clean environment, atmosphere is simple. They have fresh seafood on the premises in tanks. If u are a fan and looking for a place to get authentic Chinese this is the place or at least one of.
