Her group went to the original Fricano’s tonight for supper and several of our folks were brand new to Fricano’s. We all enjoyed our pizza! Thank you, Fricano’s, for the friendly, excellent service we had from all of the staff. You took care of us well!

Yesterday, my friend and I drove from Chicago to Kalamazoo to pick up their sibling from college. For dinner, we wanted to stop somewhere unique to Michigan – why travel to a different state just to eat at a chain restaurant that we could visit at home in “The Big Onion”?

Lasagna was pretty good but not the best I’ve ever had. Once the place started filling up with other patrons, the service got slow. Things that were requested took a long time arriving. A friend had the eggplant parmesan and said it was not great. The bread and oil and spices to dip in was excellent

Awesome experience! Our server Karen was off the charts great. Because of her we got the pasta Pescatore off the “secret menu”. Linguini in red sauce with mussels, calamari and shrimp and aromatics. It was beyond good, really. Also had the Fricano’s original 5 items pizza. It was so good. The best dining experience we’ve had in a long time. Would highly recommend.

Nice ambiance and plenty of seating available. The menu had a good variety of food and the prices were fair, especially considering the generous portions. All the staff we encountered were friendly and our waitress was very attentive. The only knock was that the food wasn’t the highest quality. It wasn’t poor, but it was very average compared to other Italian restaurants in the greater Kalamazoo area. Everything else about my dining experience was great.

I went there for the first time and it was not a good time. The young lady was pleasant, but the prices are ridiculous. We asked about the perch dinner and all you get is 7 pieces of fish, one side (which you pay for separately) , so if you have $22.00 for 7 pieces of fish then this is the place for you. NOT A FAN!!! Oh yeah and don’t forget $5.00 for a pop/ soda and the little chubby girl should wait until customers are out the door before making comments, it could’ve turned out different

I have to say in the 60 plus years eating pizza at Fricano’s, all locations, the pizza we had was the worst pizza I’ve ever experienced at Fricano’s. An unfamiliar sauce, crust was well done and difficult to even cut with a steel knife. Will never go back to the Kalamazoo location, ever!!

I Had an awesome meal here last week. I have been here many times over the years and am always satisfied and full of food by the time I leave. They have very nice staff that seems to be attentive to whatever you need for your meal. Give it a shot you won’t be disappointed
