Tried different maki rolls and ramen here, they were all delicious! The lunch special for maki rolls were good value. I would definitely dine here again, was surprised to see it so quiet on a Sunday afternoon. Very friendly and helpful staff too.

We ordered 12 rolls, Pad Thai and some appetizers. Prices are higher compared to other, local sushi houses: at least $2.00 per roll. But, the food is certainly no better and the customer service here is wanting.

My husband and I were debating for a while where to get Sushi take-out, we’ve had sushi from a few places in the area and it was always just OK. This was our first time trying JJ Bistro and we are OBSESSED now! We ordered Godzilla, Angel Wings, and the Red Dragon and when my husband went to pick it up (with a mask!), he realized they gave us free eggs rolls with a smiley face on the box, so sweet! Everything tasted so fresh, all the rolls had amazing flavors with hints of the spice but not over-powering. We just loved this place! Hoping we can eat inside this restaurant when the quarantine is lifted! You have a forever sushi customer!

We’ve ordered from here a couple of times and there’s usually one thing we might like but overall there’s always something off. A couple of times the sushi I ordered has tasted off. Almost as if it’s gone bad. The Mongolian beef is nice, but we got the green curry ramen and the green curry was very thin. It wouldn’t even stick to or coat the noodles. The best thing I’ve gotten here is the Thai green iced tea that I would definitely come back here for. Otherwise I would probably pass.

My wife got some takeout from JJ Bistro and it taste and smells bad, as if it is few days old & gone bad. I’ll rather drive little further to downtown Wheaton or to Army Trail Rd for our usual Thai food.

I got the shrimp tempura udon, through grubhub, and it was bad. For some reason it tasted like I was eating soap. There’s little to no garnish, the broth has no taste and isn’t complimentary to the shrimp tempura. I remade the broth over the stove and added Hondashi, fish flakes, an egg, and green onion. Looking at the dish, it doesn’t seem like they care.

I highly recommend this place. We ordered takeout. Got the Chicken Pad Thai and it was super delicious! They even gave us free egg rolls! The price is fair for the pad thai portions!

We ordered through Ubereats. Food was so blend, it doesn’t taste like Thai food at all. We didn’t finish and had to discard most of our order, disappointment!
