The last two times I ordered pizza from them they forgot the butter cheese crust, and as “home of the free flavored crust” that’s pretty disappointing. They’re pizza is very mediocre without the flavored crust. I would not recommend getting pizza from Hungry Howies.

I order the SAME items EVERY time and they ARE NEVER THE SAME! AND 9 times out of 10 they’re going to forget salad dressing. They clearly don’t care enough to check orders before they go out for delivery. I’m recovering from surgery and didn’t feel like getting out tonight. I decided to try my luck. Order actually arrived early. Opened pizza…. there’s about 2.5-3” of crust and the toppings are all in the middle. Open salad bag…. no dressing. I call….explain the problem….girl said “yes mam but what’s the problem?” Seriously? She then said that door dash delivers. Oh I’m sorry, do they make and pack the food too? But wait, it gets better….she then tries to tell me that pizzas have crust (really??) and she asks me what I want her to do and if I want extra dressing THE NEXT TIME I COME IN….. I laughed and told her I’d figure it out and how ridiculous they are. What good will that do for the salad I have right now? **CORRECT RESPONSE would’ve been: “I’m so sorry mam what did you have? We’ll remake that pizza and get some salad dressing to you ASAP.” But the girl didn’t even bother to apologize!…she just tried to blame someone else, and say that that’s how they make their pizzas….Well mam then you’re doing it wrong. Why do they hire people like this and why are they left unsupervised? I know workers are hard to come by but COME ON. I worked many years in food/beverage industry. There’s no excuse except for laziness, lack of training, nobody cares……. the owner has GOT to be losing business….and giving away a LOT of food. DO BETTER.

This is the second time I have ordered from this location, order wasn’t ready I had even waited for my order an extra 15 minutes before I left home, they told me 15 minute until ready got there 45 minutes later still not ready, in fact they didn’t even start on the order yet. Completely forgot about the order. This is ridiculous 2nd time something has happened here.

I have a promo code: “VIP FREE LARGE WITH ANY MENU PRICE HOWIE BREAD PURCHASE.” It reads “USE ONLINE ONLY.” When I tried to use the code online, it was ringing up as $6.99 for the bread and $11.79 for the pizza. I did not add anything other than those two items. I did not add any toppings that cost extra, according to the site. I called the Northport, AL store. A man answered asking “pickup or delivery.” I told him I had a question. He said he couldn’t hear me and to hold on. A few seconds later he asked me what I said. A woman answered then. I think the call was on speaker. I started trying to explain. The woman told me there was nothing they could do about anything online. I asked who I needed to call to get the problem resolved. She told me she could not hear me. I had full service. I moved to the window. She told me to hang up and call back. She said she still could not understand. I hanged up. I called back. She answered. I explained. She said, “the best thing she could tell me” was to call back in the morning when her general manager would be there. I said okay. I then called the Tuscaloosa, AL location to try my luck. A woman answered and put me on hold before I could even speak. I waited for over fifteen minutes. Not very professional or courteous. I will be ordering from Domino’s now instead.

I advise not to go to this place they lie about what time they close one said 9:30 which the manager said 10:00 plus she was very rude over the phone when you try to ask a question and when I ask for her name and corporate number she really got an attitude wouldn’t let you speak then hangs up in your face like you are nobody which we the people ones who help them get a check I’m so not going or calling in for a order ever again

Called to place and order for delivery and I had a coupon that I received in the mail and they absolutely REFUSED to allow me to use and said I had to come inside to do use it (although I explained to them I have a broken back and can’t drive) but was still EXTREMELY rude about it. So I tried to change it to a take out order and was gonna have someone pick it up for me and whoever was taking my order wouldn’t allow me to speak long enough to order and kept interrupting me so I asked to speak to someone else. Needless to say I spoke with 3 different employees who were all very rude so I asked to speak to a manager because all I wanted to do was place and order for 1 large pizza and all 3 of them claimed to be the managers and continued to tell me they weren’t giving me s***! Also hung up on me SEVERAL TIMES. Sent someone to pick it up and they never even placed my order and turns out the ACTUAL manager had just gotten there. Explained to him what happened and he said he’d handle it but DIDNT so I’ll definitely be calling corporate tomorrow.
