First time and last time visiting this restaurant. Went for a work lunch excited about a salad bar I was told they had. I was quite disappointed to see the salad bar only contains those items you would get at another other restaurant as a side salad. I ordered a shrimp salad. The shrimp is extra small shrimp “grilled” on a skewer (dont be fooled by the photos), overcooked, no seasoning, and tasted like rubber. I was given a $2.00 discount for the inedible food that was meant to be my lunch, which left me paying $25 for my ticket and still had to go elsewhere for lunch that was edible.

Ordered off the lunch menu, the salad bar was good, fried okra and French fries were good, the hamburger left something to be desired. Not even sure if it was real hamburger! It was pressed meat, no real flavor. The onion and cheese was good on one sandwich, and the brisket on the other was tasty, just very disappointed with the quality of the hamburger.

I have been eating here for years, and the food and service has always been good until today. From the beginning, me and my mom felt very uncomfortable. Most of the wait staff was standing behind the counter just staring at people as they walked in. We were sat a table directly in front of that counter. They were back there the whole time horseplaying and whispering and pointing at customers. The waitress only came back once to check on us, and that was when she brought the food. They were not busy at all and had plenty of waitstaff. The food portions were smaller this time and the chicken strips were over cooked. If this was my first time to eat here, I would probably not go back. I am gonna give them another chance and am hoping they were just having an off day.

I have given this place two tries and was disappointed each time. First time was a hot link with salad bar and baked potato. The potato was a side of packaged daisy sour cream and it was not enough. I did ask for more. There was not much cheese and it was pretty small. Hot link was alright. Salad bar was okay.

We go in and got sitted right away. We ordered our sweet tea. The tea was okay. It wasn’t good but it wasn’t bad. We ordered an appetizer of pork fries that was $7.99. The picture shows the little plate we received. So not worth the price. Hubby ordered 3 rubs and filet of catfish combo for $20.99. He got 2 sides which was their salad bar and baked beans. On the salad bar he got the country soup which was very tomato based. He said the baked beans tasted like they got poured out of a can. The ribs were over seasoned. The catfish was nothing special. I ordered the 2 catfish filets for $13.99. Once again it wasn’t that special. The filets were at least a good size. The tarter sauce was okay. My 2 sides was the salad bar and tater tots. On the salad bar I actually made a salad which was fine. I also got to try their cold slaw which I would say compares to walmarts. The tater tots were edible at best. If I had my kids they would have ate them and thought it was the best thing in the world, but they also think chunky cheese is great. Customer service was alright. We were sat right away. Our drinks brought quickly but then didn’t have anyone stop by the table for 20 minutes. When the server got over there she told us that next time we should put our menus down. After that though she was on top of filling up drinks and food was brought out rather quickly. Overall I will not be going back

Brung the family for my birthday! Well the server was great!! But that’s it… the food was not good. My granddaughter”grilled cheese” wow the cheese was dark orange like when it been left out.. was not melted the bread was not toasted… the okra was cooked so long or old that you couldn’t bite it.. the ranch on the salad bar was the consistency of water my husband’s steak was medium how he ordered it.. but yet was so tough he couldn’t eat it. She did keep our drinks filled..we had not been there in some time because last time we went we said we wouldn’t be back.. we decided to give them another chance since it had been some time…WELL WE WON’T BE BACK! FOR THE PRICE WE SHOULD HAVE LEFT FULL.. INSTEAD WE LEFT HUNGRY..
