Moved to the Manteno area from Oak Lawn where the original Grassanos is located in Burbank a short drive from our previous home in Oak Lawn. Was delighted to see they had one in Manteno.. Love the pizza and pizza puffs. Family owned and priced good. Pizza is delicious with a slightly sweet sauce and crispy thin crust. Not many good pizza places in Kankakee county, and happy now there is.

We got their pizza last night for the first time. Excellent! Sweet sauce. Big sausages with good flavor. Plenty of cheese and not too greasy. Highly recommended. We should have tried them sooner! They tell you when you order how long the wait for pickup is. One hour last night. Totally worth it.

They have gotten so disappointing…We ordered tonight, 1/17/23, and ordered Extra Sauce because their pizza has been too dry! There are pieces of this pizza that have no sauce at all! My husband called, (we wanted to bring it back and get another one with sauce,) whoever answered talked to the cook and he said he put extra sauce on it, and my husband again told her that there isn’t any sauce on it, and she said the owner isn’t in and we can’t do anything about it!!!! Out of the 1/2 of the dry pizza we choked down, we didn’t have the fresh garlic on it that we also ordered! YUCK!!!

Best pizza place in town. They offer take out and delivery, not really any in place dining. They only accept cash for pick-up though, so plan ahead. Their pick-up times are pretty quick too (usually about 30-45 minutes).

I am what you would call a pizza fanatic, I LOVE pizza, I eat pizza about 3 times a week and have been living on the Southside of Chicago for 12 years before moving to Manteno. There is only one place that I have ever had pizza that tops MaMa Grassanos and that is Edwardo’s Natural Pizzeria. I am proud to say that MaMa Grassanos outperforms at least 30 other pizza places I have had pizza from including Beggars, Giordano’s, Waldo Cooney’s, and many more. I have only had the stuffed pizza from MAMA so I can’t speak as for the thin crust but I usually only get stuffed pizza. I have ordered here more than once a week since trying their pizza. Keep it up MAMA, you’ve got my business for as long as I am around here, and even if I move I would even travel sometimes just to have the taste of your stuffed pizza!!
