Went there twice in one week. The first time the food was delicious the cook knew what she was doing that’s the first pic. The second time different cook and you can see the second pic. He didn’t know how to scramble eggs or make pancakes. Then for the exact same meal I was charged $5 more the second time. They really need to get rid of the flies in the dining room it’s at least 10 plus flying around in there get some fly paper or something.

They do not have about half of the stuff on the menu. The so-called catfish tasted really bad. It was not even white and flaky like it was done the best part they had was french fries. Nobody was happy because they said nobody wants to order everything on the menu so they cannot sell it, if they don’t have it and to be honest, I would be embarrassed to keep this open and the shame of it is I was here the day they open the store the very first time years ago and it was great and this is the first time I’ve been back here in probably 15 years and it will be my last

Need some signage at interstate; cost $4500 would be recouped easy with more customers. {Mama Jean passed, y’all, for those who remember her ownership of the spot o( } Had a great omelet big enough to share, and enough thick bacon to take some home for a BLT. Timely and attentive table service. :0(—> A few more flies than I care to share a cafe with. And the cook stepped out of the kitchen into the dining room to light up; perhaps the laws are different in MS but not the etiquette, but there’s just no accounting for some people’s manners—hope her manager sees this and suggests she use the loading dock or the dumpster rather than the dining area. :0)—>Overall a 9.5 out of 10.

This place is not for the faint of heart. How it passes a health inspection is beyond me. And when you walk in don’t sit down right away, go find an employee to let them know you’re looking to order. If you don’t, you may end up sitting alone for 10 to 15 minutes while they’re off shooting the breeze.

I almost passed on this place because of the bad reviews. I assure you that they are not correct. Don’t miss out on a good meal because someone left a bad review. It is definitely an old school place but it’s far from the way it is described in some of these reviews. The bathroom was not only clean but it smelled clean too. Do not judge a book by a cover. Had breakfast there this morning and it was way beyond expectations. Nicole’s biscuits were perfect. And I guess I had to travel all the way to Mississippi to finally find grits made right; not too creamy and not to gritty – just the right balance. Nicole was doing all the cooking, prep and table service on her own – and was excellent at all three.

I won’t give this place any stars!! The health dept needs to be called on them. Place is gross! Trash piled in trash can inside restaurant food drink running down the wall. Don’t get me started on the bathroom!! Smells bad of cigarettes cuz there employees are smoking in there. The food was bad I had pancakes I figured u can’t go wrong with batter and water but think again!!! They weren’t cooked all the way and they tasted like grease like no one has cleaned the grill in years!! I would just strike a match on this place and run!!!
