I’ve been telling my husband about this place for years. 🙂 my last time here was when I lived in the area. We’re no longer close by so we don’t go out that way often but I told him I wanted to make a trip there for lunch one day. Seeing my 11 year old in the same old school charm little shop was a wholesome feeling. Same people from all them years ago. They cared about our experience and were so awesome. Best subs. Delicious icecream. Husband already said he wants to come back for a steak and cheese! Woohoo! Great job guys!

It sucks the steak and cheese is so good, because I won’t get to try anything else on the menu.

Best sub shop around. Can be pretty busy so call ahead. You won’t be disappointed.

Recently moved back to Massachusetts. Specifically Monson and I’ve been trying all of the pizza/ grinder places in town. This place has by far the best sandwiches in town. Far cry from Monson Italian pizzeria or Maria’s. And by that I mean much MUCH better. If you get a chance definitely give them a shot you will not be disappointed.

Nicely decorated sub & ice cream shop located just off the main road near the center of town. What is great about this place is the subs, you need two hands to hold them as they are packed! Good bread, good ingredients and best of all, good friendly service!

Highly recommended! Great food, good prices and the large grinders are about the size of a small child. Steak a cheese grinder is always what I go for and I haven’t been disappointed.

Just moved to town and tried this place the day it opened (and many more since). Steak and cheese is excellent, the bread is chewy and the beef is cooked in broth, probably the best I’ve had outside Boston or Philly proper. Ice cream and water ice are also great, my kid and I always “share” a Swedish Fish gelati when we order out. The wait times are long when they’re busy since they have a small kitchen, but it’s worth the wait.

As a successful chef, I am very hesitant to write restaurant reviews. Every idiot has a voice now and I don’t think people realize what kind of damage they can do to a small business because they feel they’ve had a bad experience. I go to Philadelphia for business quite often and frequent Dinic’s, John’s Roast Pork and Dalessandro’s for great sandwiches. That being said, I ate at Salerno’s this weekend and quite honestly had the best sandwiches of my life. I highly recommend that you try them out and I know that you’ll be just as blown away as my family and I were. This is more than just a small-town gem. It’s worth a pilgrimage.
