Today was my first visit to Opal’s. I chose salmon cake, pork chop, baked beans with fried taters. Everything was delicious. The salmon cake seasoning reminded me of my mothers baked clam recipe and the pork chop was just right. DO NOT leave this place without trying the homemade butterscotch pie!

Came for breakfast and couldn’t eat anything. The gravy was just flour and milk. No sausage, no seasoning and flavorless. The ham steak was half cooked half not and all the bacon and ham tasted like it was about to turn and had been cooked on a dirty grill. I don’t think they use any seasoning at all on anything.

The burgers were amazing but everything else not so much. My husband got a double bacon cheese burger, fries, and fried mushrooms. I got just a plain burger, fries, and fried mushrooms. The husband’s burger didn’t have bacon on it and the orders of fries we got were mostly crumbs. The orders of mushrooms was the smallest I’ve ever seen but they did taste good. I will definitely order the burger again though if I get the craving for a good burger.

Ordered two seafood specials also ordered two pies with the order. The cod fish was uncooked raw. The shrimp and the clams overcooked you could not eat them. I paid $35 for this so disgusting. First time here last time there.
