First time trying Korean food and I loved it. Nice cozy environment and the food itself was amazing. Already planning to go there on my next date or with friends.

We came here for the bbq, you have to order 3 meats before they start a fire for you.

Deliciously consistent! For starters, I highly recommend the beef brisket and mul-nnaengmyun combo. Great service too with robots to help out.

The owner/ server was rushing us out. Before ordering the “platter” we asked what is the portion of the meat we will receive for $35. She said it is a one person meal. That is very incorrect. We received a very small amount of meat wasn’t enough at all. Only one short rib, 3 brisket, and one piece of another meat. For $35 it doesn’t worth the money and the food was extremely salty. Not recommend at all.

We could taste umami in every side dish, and the main dish, in our case, codfish stew and dumplings in beef broths. A rare tasty experience among many traditional Korean restaurants we’ve been to. The music they were playing was a bit too loud.

I usually don’t take the time to ever write a review but I’m sorry, this time I must. Meat project, The Qui (right around the corner), advertise ayce. Okay granted this location specifically does not do ayce and I understand that. My friend and I came in and ordered Korean bbq. Each platter have different pricing based on what meat you choose. We chose the $29.99 one pork and beef combo. She brings out one serving of food out. So you’re telling me that one tray of food is even worth $29.99 let alone enough to share between two people? Now because there’s two of us I would have understood if she would have brought out a second tray of food. But she didn’t. She even asked, seems like you both are still hungry so do you want me to bring out more? I said, sure bring some more out assuming that was our second portion because there’s two of us. I still didn’t feel right about it and asked her, it won’t be extra right because it’s our second tray…? She said, it’ll cost another $29.99. Listen long story short, I ended up paying $70 for lunch and left even hungrier. Never in my life did I ever go to a Korean bbq and leave even hungrier. Let’s not forget to mention, drinks aren’t refillable, sides aren’t included, and the menu is absolutely deceiving. Now I understand why her restaurant is empty and no one comes in. Her prices are overpriced and not fair. Too many Korean restaurants to choose from in Chantilly to Fairfax and I took a chance with this hole in the wall and definitely was deceived. Never again and I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

Terrific authentic Korean BBQ with first rate, friendly service at a reasonable price. Had the BBQ. Side dishes plentiful and fresh. My wife loved the place. We’ll be back.

Beware of owner being a fraud. My mother took me and my kids out to eat here and the owner acted like my moms friends speaking in Korean. Gave us extra side dishes to make the service look good, and even sat at our table and had a drink with my mom. When we received our check, the owner charged for every little thing, even the drink that she brought to our table which we did not order and drank with my mom. I thought that was a friendly gesture since the owner claimed to be my moms friend. We ordered LA gal bi and pork belly which most places give free tofu soup and steamed egg with a double meat order, She charged for that too without telling us. Check your receipt at this place, not our first time being over charged here. My mother usually comes with a big group of her friends and spends around $500, but not anymore. She will spread the word to the Korean community. Truth always comes out!!!! We normally go to evergreen in Centerville and don’t have this type of issue.

Ordered bibimbap to go. The portion is pretty small not much of beef, for 17 it is overpriced. To go also comes with 3 small dishes.

I ordered BBQ, the meat is less than I thought. We spent $80 for two people, but the meat it’s not enough. Anyway, the tofu soup is really sour for me. If you like Korean BBQ, I don’t think this place is the best choice. You can try their the other food.
