We eat here about once a week or at least a few times a month. The food is always delicious, but get there early because they do occassionally run out of menu items. The lady at the desk has always been kind and accommodating to us and anyone we’ve ever sent. Also better portions than a lot of places I’ve been. Love this place!

She got my order wrong and caught attitude with me when I said something about it. I order white rice and got rice and beans. Jerk chicken with no gravy. I took it and threw it in the trash. Whatever good qualities this restaurant has went out the window a while ago and I keep trying to go back. No more. Work on y’all customer service skills. Speak. Open your mouth. Do better .I’m not going back. Plus they are more expensive for no reason. You’ll find better.

I really like this place. I’ve only been here twice but both experiences were great! The oxtail and curry chicken were my entrees at my visit. They were both sooooo good! The lady that works the front is nice and made sure I got the cabbage that I wanted so bad. Then, the cook even came out from the kitchen and greeted me. Food was great and full of FLAVOR!!! Thanks!

Ordered the Oxtail with rice and peas. Overall, the food was good. The oxtail was seasoned very nice but a bit salty for my taste and they only give you one, yes one peice of plantain. My friend on the other hand loved the oxtail. I gave it three stars cause they could do better with the plantain and the price. They are expensive in my book.

jerk sauce tastes like seasoned gravy. it’s definitely not real jerk sauce. the wait was ridiculous and we were the only ones in line. took an additional 30/45 mins to get my chicken patty after i already got my food. the taste is just not it.

Found this place recently and their stew chicken is to die for, got the pepper steak the other day and it was really tender and flavorful. In comparison to caribbean kitchen the food tastes better but the portions are smaller and still as pricey

This was the most disappointing customer service that I have ever had to go through.This owner is the worst and very rude! I placed an order for 3 dinner plates at 30 mins. before closing and added another at 8:45pm. I told the owner that i would surely be there and at 8:55 i called to let her know that I may be pushing it on time. I got in the door at 8:58 only to find out that she had sold my order. She nonchalantly brushed me off and i called her a foul person. If i couod post the video i would. Because i had my phine recording our interaction. I drove 30 minutes out of my way just to support black and got the worst customer care that i had ever experienced. I will never got to that place again.

I’ve been here on a couple different occasions this past time was the worst. They’re always pretty short for lack of a better term with communication. However, my food was literally cold! I had to warm it up before I could eat it which is what it sounded like was being done while I waited up front..after calling my order in 10-15 minutes prior.
