I love Waffle House and the only thing that keeps this from getting 5 stars in my opinion is the service. During this visit I had just come from the gym and wanted to grab a quick take home meal and not wait long if at all. I called and called and just got a recording saying something like “for respect to out dine in customers we can’t answer the phone, so please stop by and order or dine in”. I found this a little annoying but thought whatever I get it maybe they are a little busy. 15 minutes later I get off in Baldwin and pull in to find 5 workers and two customers in the whole place with one cooking and the other 4 kinda piddling around filling shakers and wiping things down. Not near enough to not answer the phone mind you. I got a waitress that seemed sorta annoyed to take my order and even more so that I did not tip after paying. To avoid an argument, if I’m getting food to go and no extra service I don’t see paying someone to do their job, especially when I was charged about $3 just because my order was to go anyway. Aside from that my food as always was fresh and amazing and I would definitely go back just maybe not for a to go order.

Loved this waffle house. My server, Amanda, was absolutely great. Staff was very polite. Restaurant clean. Fell in love with their grits, awesome!!! Wish I could give them 10 stars! Definitely recommend this waffle house.

This Waffle House location has been remodeled about a year or so ago. It’s very clean. The staff of ladies working were very friendly and the service and food was very good. The nicest Waffle House location I’ve been to.

The waffle I got was really good! I had peanut butter and chocolate chips added onto it, which were a .50 cent up charge, but we’re soooo worth it! I loved it. Our server, Amanda was also super nice! She even gave us advice, about the area. All in all, great experience!

Our waitress was great. But the older lady with blonde hair that was cooking “probably a manager” was absolutely horrible!! She was training a young man and was being so nasty and hateful to him and speaking to him like garbage when he was doing nothing wrong. That poor young man was trying his best, She was yelling at him left and right where the whole restaurant could hear her.

Food was as normal, it was good, the coffee was fairly good until the waitress came and added a warm up to my cup, I could not enjoy it afterward, I ask her to make me some fresh coffee and in maybe one minute she brought me another cup, it had been made a while it was worse than the cup I already had. Maybe she does not know what fresh means or I should have said it some other way?
