We stopped here on our way from Reading. The restaurant wasn’t roo busy. We ordered a chicken croquettes meal and a cheeseburger sandwich. It’s been years since I’ve had a croquettes. Oh my gosh, they were delicious! The burger was juicy and cooked well. Thanks for a delicious meal! We will be back!

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the food here. I ordered a roasted lamb quesadilla which was generous and delicious! The sweet potato fries were outstanding. The Older Hickory Grille is classified as a diner in a Google search, but it is definitely not a diner. The food was okay, I guess, but not a good value for the cost. The staff were friendly, but they were obviously understaffed the evening we were there. It took more than twenty minutes to get a highchair brought to our table, even though we asked before we were seated. I would not recommend for dinner. Maybe they are better at breakfast and lunch.
