Great location steps from the beach in Capitola with and outdoor, dog-friendly patio where you can catch all the action. Food has traditional dishes from England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, with some standard fare are well and American portion sizes! Don’t miss the Fish & Chips (although not served in newspaper!).

Great little beach pub with awesome food and a nice selection of cold brews! The bangers and mash are my favorite, but the fish & chips or shrimp & chips are great selections as well. Wash it down with an English Ale, the Speckled Hen is a nice one! Spot on service and comfy atmosphere make this my favorite place in Capitola. Enjoy!

Please, for the love of all things, clean this place. It’s so gross on so many levels. Doesn’t take much to remove the dead bugs from the light fixtures, sweep, steam clean the carpet, etc. If it’s this disgusting in the restaurant, what does the kitchen look like? Can’t beat the location but that doesn’t excuse you from keeping your establishment clean and sanitary!
