One of the best meals we have had since being in Italy. My husband and I are originally from manhattan and have traveled to many countries. We feel we have tried some of the worlds best food and this absolutely ranks up there. The services was incredible and the food was all impeccable. Highly recommended 10/10.

il Nido was a dream! Phenomenal service, food, and atmosphere. My husband and I were the first ones there so we definitely got to soak in the ambiance. For appetizers we ordered the wagu meatballs, squash flower (special) and the grilled octopus. It was all delicious and intentional. For our entrees my husband ordered the filet mignon and I had the cicao de peppe with truffle. Both dntress were ridiculously delicious. Every bite is flavored. The filet was charred… seasoned to perfection and tender! My pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavors were peppery, salty, earthy, just heavenly! For dessert we did the banana bread. Perfect way to end the dinner. Cocktails we had were Island Time & Pink Lady. Both drinks made great, however Pink Lady was elite! We spent $300 and feel it was well worth it. We’ll be back and plan on bringing the family!

Excellent service, delicious menu, and a wonderful local spot tucked away along Rt 9. We have driven by here for years now and had several people recommend Il Nido. The pastas with mushrooms was so good that we wanted to soak up the broth with bread. A cozy and romantic dining room. Will definitely return.

Wanted to try this place for a while but never managed to fit my schedule. Finally tried it and boy it was good. The experience from beginning to end was just perfect. Loved all the paintings in the restaurant, and the decorations felt like you were in a restaurant in Italy. Great service, great food and nice background on everything from ingredients to food. Everything was organic, fresh and delivered very quickly. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente with flour imported from Sicily and made fresh in the restaurant. The ricotta was also made at the restaurant and it was perfectly fresh. The gnocchi was great just perfect and the dessert was next level good. Even the cocktails felt fresh and unique. Will definitely come back!

The food was beautiful, but unfortunately basic taste and so so seasoning made it underwhelming. The service could have used a smile, at least once, at least. The best part was the coziness of the place. It sets the right mood the moment one walks in, but it slides down from that point forward.
