Nice country kitchen style restaurant. It’s a bit cluttered with stuff for sale and the food has no flavor. I think they left out seasoning for people with dietary restrictions. Overall it’s good. Think “cafeteria “ food, similar to “Luby’s”. The biscuits are great!!

If you are in the mood to waste your money and experience mediocre service with low-quality food, look no further and attend this location. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and we were greeted by our server, who stated that they were new at this job; then they proceeded to take our order which came out on time; however, it was very low quality. The server also forgot to bring us plates, so I am assuming they were expecting us to eat the cornbread off the table. After sitting there for a while waiting to ask for utensils and the plates, I had to turn around a find our server, as she was nowhere to be seen. Once we were done with our meal, they left all of our empty plates at the table and proceeded with d to bring the bill without asking if we wanted something extra, which in this case, we did. At this point, I moved to clean the table for myself and hinted to the staff member that the plates should probably be taken away.

On my journey to finding the ultimate fries. I had a business meeting at Cracker Barrel and decide to give the fries a try. They were good, but did not make the list for ultimate fries. The place is really fun with a store upfront when you walk in. It’s a great place for a family meal or even a date.

Unfortunately, this was not a good experience for us. We are from North Houston in Spring Texas and normally we would never come to this location. I have been to several Cracker Barrel‘s in Texas, and they have always been good experiences. This was not the case, we were sat down And had to wait a few minutes for a table to be cleaned up which is OK. Our waitress Kennedy was pleasant but our food wait was over 40 minutes. Our waitress told us that they were short a cook and she would try to expedite it. I talk to a manager who apologized, but did nothing to assure us that we would be taken care of , I told him I would wait five more minutes for my food or we would just leave. He told our ticket was not even process because of a jammed system. So honestly, I don’t know who to believe. I was very hungry and was looking forward to a nice meal , I did not expect a free meal, but it would have been nice if the manager had comped us for it. I wish we had seen the reviews before we went there, because that would’ve deterred us from going. We could’ve gone to a number of other places I regret going here. I feel I should call corporate about this issue.

Wow! I’ve never had to walk out of a restaurant from lack of service. 1 whole hour and all we had to show for it was our 2 waters and a lemonade, which we got 25 minutes after we sat down. We had placed our food and drink order when our server greeted us at the 15 minute mark because we were predicting a bit of a wait to get stuff and our server asked if we would like bread, we said of course as we were starving. Drinks came out about 10 minutes later but that was the last we interacted with our server for the next 35 minutes. The rest of the time we received no bread, no food, and not a word from our server who passed us several times to bring food to other tables (some of which had sat down after we already received our drinks). It was 4:00 on a Sunday and the place was less than half full. We were hoping someone else might come to check on us but we were naive to hope for such a thing. Tables next to us were left dirty for 30+ minutes and managers were walking around but not checking on any tables the whole time we were there. At the hour mark, we decided to try our luck somewhere else and we left without even having a crumb to eat. From previous visits at other locations and reviews we heard about the Pearland location, we came in with low expectations. We had no idea that even that was too much to go in with. I did see that other servers seemed more attentive to their tables but I am doubtful I would ever come back to a Cracker Barrel in hopes of a better experience than what we got today.

The service was great at Cracker Barrel. My server Cristian was nice. He made sure I had everything I needed for my meal while I waited for my food to come out. Compliments to the chefs, my waffles & chicken was delicious. Unfortunately, I ate it too quickly to take a picture. Also, CB is running a great $5 promotion for a Take Home Meal with any entrée ordered in the restaurant or online.
