Food was excellent! We had meat samosa, lamb korma, shrimp curry and they were so good! The reasons I couldn’t give 5 stars are, they need a bit of cleaning and a bit of ambiance. Maybe putting a little effort in interior because it looks like it used to be a Chinese restaurant and just pained in different color and put some Indian picture. The window was dirty. I love rice pudding but theirs is so tiny and $4.50 is over priced! I’m just a bit more critical but if you want to enjoy the food and don’t care interior or other stuff, this is excellent Indian restaurant.

One of the best Indian restaurants in the state. The buffet had many varieties of choices and the service was amazing. The menu was also full of different foods that range from meat to seafood. Overall, great experience and I am looking forward to visiting them again.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon. It was really quite and comfortable. We had the buffet which had a nice assortment of food. I particularly do not like food so spicy that it burns your lips. This food was just right for me. Spicy enough to enjoy the flavor and mild enough not to have to drown in water after each bite. Also, the bread was fantastic.

This is the best Indian Restaurant in Rockland County. Beautiful, spacious, clean, cozy and classy setting. Staff are friendly and attentive.

We arranged a party for friends and family members in memory of my husband. A special request was made to prepare only vegetarian dishes without onion or garlic. Our request was honored and the food was excellent. The service was great.

Horrible experience dining at this place. The staff is highly unprofessional and unethical. I went with my family and ordered for around $50. I wanted to use the groupon coupon with a deal of $24 for $40. When we presented the coupon the staff reacted very harsh and was not ready to cooperate. They made us order more to accept the coupon. I went with my family and was tired so didn’t argue much but the Manager didn’t show any courtesy and was in very aggressive mood. This place is run by money minded people and they have zero courtesy for the customers if they think they are not making desired money. Zero stars for customer service & etiquette.

Love their afternoon buffet! Great variety and delicious. But beware of goat rice and meat! Sharp and dangerous small bones choking hazard or crack a tooth. I find bones in goat rice and goat curry every time I go there.

My pregnant wife and I got super sick from eating here. We eat Indian all the time in the city and here in Rockland. As I was picking up my food something was missing and they prepped it a little quick. I did hear a microwave. Maybe it’s not as fresh as they said it was.

I couldn’t possibly recommend Saffron enough. Everything I’ve had from there (a lot at this point) has been top notch. Shoutouts in particular to the chicken saagwala, palak paneer, butter chicken and biryani, and naan. The real star of the show, though, is the rice. The make the best rice I’ve ever had and probably ever will have. It’s such a soft, fluffy, and delicious rice. You can definitely eat it all by itself, but it will soak up any of the curries perfectly. So mix everything up! The restaurant itself is pretty decent. They will often have a buffet running and also have a banquet hall for events. The staff itself has always been super friendly. The gentleman who works the front desk and waits on tables is always smiling and happy. It’s kind of infectious. He’s a good dude. Do yourself a favor and get some Saffron.

Great food & service. Surprisingly quiet when visited on a Friday night. Excellent chicken Tika Masala, and raita. Also recommend the garlic naan. Puzzled as to why they haven’t had take out menus for months?!
