I stopped in with a friend to give this place a chance. I’m glad we did the owner Tina was there to take our order and make us feel at home. The food is good and the owner is delightful. Stop in and give it a try prices are reasonable too.

I do not understand the low reviews. Don’t look at these. This place is the bomb! Cheap, nice service and delicious food. If you’re lucky you can get a table in outside and eat while enjoying the sun and a beach breeze. The vegan options are great 100% will come again.

If you want good quality food and service, look no further! We came as a big family and the owner – Tina and her staff were so hospitable and welcoming! We would definitely come back again. Delicious food

Tina was amazing! Great service from a woman-owned restaurant. Even covered a new set of shrimp quesadillas on the house after forgetting g to add shrimp to our first quesadilla.

We chose the Carne asada tacos they were filled and just like home. The Chile’ was almost like home , but couldn’t tell the difference by the end of the meal. Nice place but only two tables inside. Sidewalk tables are busy.

I have to give a shout out to Tacos Cancun in Newport Beach, California. While I was on a business trip from Colorado, I made my way down to the beach to try this place after doing some previous research for Vegan options while I was still in Colorado Springs. This place had a great Vegan menu (and a regular menu) that I was really wanting to try. When I got dropped off, I walked up and was told by the owner Tina that they were closed . I was definitely disappointed because I was really looking forward to trying it for almost 3 weeks. I asked if there were any other Vegan options on the beach and she said not really, immediately after, she said that she would open for me and make whatever I liked because she was also Vegan and didn’t want me to leave hungry. I told her that I wasn’t picky and that I would take anything that was easy. I definitely didn’t want to inconvenience her. She then preceeded to make me a taco plate and gave me some chips and guacamole. I was so appreciative for her efforts, but then she said that she would also make me a burrito to take for later and also gave me another order of chips and salsa to take as well. I I was truly blown away by her hospitality, and the the price was unbelievable too ($20). It was something that I didn’t expect in that area.

Pretty solidly average. I am from Minnesota and actually have way better Mexican food back home. The enchiladas didn’t have much flavor, but I did really like the homemade chips. And props for the Frida Kahlo mural.

Ok food, somewhat authentic Mexican flavor but not all the way there. Something just missing. If you are white I’m sure you will love it here. Plenty of flavor for y’all. Prices aren’t too bad for the proportion sizes. No alcohol sold here just canned and bottled sodas.
