After a long winding drive that included strenuous hikes through muggy jungle foliage, my appetite reaches a crescendo. I know what you’re thinking, “there are lots of poke places and they’re all similar…” However, if your poke experience is based on the mainland then, you owe your soul a bowl at Poke Bob’s in Hana. Located in this small food truck plaza, you’re a few feet away from whatever drink you’d like to accompany this perfect bowl of fresh tuna, rice and greens, drizzled with spicy aioli, perfect for refueling to explore more trails and waterfalls. Served up with a genuine smile and regard for your overall enjoyment, you’ll feel like lingering to soak up more of this quaint village.

I’m not kidding when I say I’ve thought about this meal basically every week since I visited months ago. I had the teriyaki chicken bbq kabob plate and every single element of it was 10/10. Super flavorful chicken with seasoned rice, refreshing salad, and delicious fresh grilled pineapple. The staff were kind and quick, and it was the perfect stop at the end of a long drive. Would for sure recommend and will definitely come back on my next visit!

The only food I wanted while on Maui was a poke bowl and I had a surprisingly difficult time finding a good one. After a long and stressful road to Hana trip I happened upon this place (there was zero service to search for food). This poke bowl single handedly made the entire drive there and back worth it. I have literally craved this daily since my return from the island.

This is located at one of the food truck circles along the Road to Hana. Make note that most places along this way are more expensive. I had heard about this place from a few people and enjoyed the poke. Pretty typical soy based marinade, but good quality tuna and the spicy mayo & wasabi aioli drizzles were good. Not my favorite poke place on the island, but I enjoyed it very much.

We stopped here while doing road to Hana, and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing!! I ordered the chicken kabobs. Came with chicken, veggies, rice, and salad. Price was about $20 for the meal, but it was well worth it!

Loved this stop at the end of our day! Although I recommend getting there a little earlier in the afternoon as they run out of some items, makes sense it’s tasty! Our bad for being late.

All around a fantastic food truck! We ordered the chicken kabob plate and shrimp kabob plate. Everything was cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly, and tasted amazing. Fresh ingredients cooked to order and generous portions. Definitely a great place to stop for lunch or dinner.

Super fresh! Poke bowl was tasty. Definitely add mango and avocado! Comes with two different drizzle sauces that are both good. Also had a “burrito” and fried pickles and squash. Yum
