The owners are very kind to their patrons and their food is like a hug. Stopped in today for some homemade soup, egg salad and a yummy nut brownie to bring home to my spouse. Make sure to stop by for their entrees of the day if you’re in the area. My absolute favorite is the beef stroganoff You can’t go wrong with their food!!

Live in Dixon but sons families live in Wheaton and GE and always follow Danada Deli on Facebook. House sitting and had my 90 year old sister out. Tried all four. Soups and Italian sub. Outstanding! Told daughter-in-law and she and grandson stopped for turkey sandwich meal. They said delicious! He said was going to tell all his team mates about the best place to go. Thank you for having such a great little gem.

Update: I was looking for a great deli near me, I called and they had moved it to Roosevelt Rd. from Danada Square in Rice Lake… I can walk / ride a bike there now! The people there are so very friendly & helpful, keep it nice, clean, bright & inviting! HOMEMADE FOOD DAILY !

I stopped in there for a quick bite. Heard great things. All the things I heard were spot on! Orders two sandwiches and a soup and was blown away. So fresh and the tastes were so well balanced. Everything you could ask for in a good sandwich. Looking forward to trying some of the hot dishes they offer. No doubt they are probably amazing! Also very friendly staff. Which also goes a long way. Do everything you can to try this place it will not disappoint.

Went for the special. It was pork chops, and they were delicious. Highly recommend the Soups too. Tried the split pea and the cream of rice. Both good. Great place for sandwiches, since they have great selection and so fresh.

The owners at Danada Deli offer delicious food. We had Schnitzel with mushroom gravy, cabbage rolls with Sauerkraut and amazing bread. Best of all, though, was the fact that they went out of their way to accommodate a Saturday pickup, even though the store was technically closed due to another off-site catering commitment. We will definitely return and try the other menu items and specials. I don’t think that German/Hungarian cuisine is available at this level of quality and tastiness anywhere else around here. I can only highly recommend Danada Deli! Thanks for helping to make a backyard birthday party a big success!
