We’re a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means “the daily bread” in French, and like our name suggests, we’re bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts.
At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That’s why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you’ll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.

This place was wonderful. My friend and I sat by the window. We enjoyed the service the food and our visit. This is a great spot for breakfast and long conversations.

I stopped in for dinner on my way home and was fortunate to have Joseph F. as my waiter. Joseph made me feel welcome. In addition, he provided prompt service and checked in on me during my meal. He is exceptional and I hope to have him as my waiter during my next visit.

The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. I prefer our waiter, Joseph (sorry if I spelt it wrong). He was very nice and he was able to bring all of the things we ordered, really quickly. The food was delicious! Coming from France the Lemon tart tasted just like home 🙂 Can’t wait to come back!

I don’t like giving a bad review, but the two times I’ve done pick up at this Le Pain location I have been extremely disappointed. Most recently I ordered the ham and cheese sandwich, which is supposed to come with mustard, pickles, and cheese. It’s also pictured with lettuce, but not included in the description so I wasn’t necessarily expecting lettuce but still odd it’s in the picture. Regardless, sandwich came with no pickles which honestly was why I ordered the ham sandwich over the prosciutto sandwich, and mustard was localized in one small portion of the bread, wasn’t even spread out. Really disappointing sandwich for $7.50 and just not worth it. The soft bread was the only good part of the sandwich. Also ordered a side of chicken soup. While the broth was delicious, there were only three small nuggets of chicken, and the rest was way over cooked mushy vegetables.

I want to express my sincere appreciation for the service I was provided at Le Pain Quotidien today. Mr. Joseph Franklin was a gentleman, he was extremely professional and accommodating to my family. I can not thank him enough for his help and kindness. I recommend this location to all. Thank you!!

We came in and we’re hoping to have a quick snack and grab some coffee to go. We were told to take a seat for table service. We requested that we got our coffees in takeaway cups, but were then told we needed to order at the counter. We went up to the counter and were told “no” by the brunette server (assumed owner/manager). There was a mix up with our food, the coffee order was incorrect and missing drinks and the poor attitude of the manager was on another level.

LPQ has a variety of freshly baked breads and pastries to choose from in their shop. They all look so good and I wish I could try them all!

The pastries here look amazing. This La Pain Quotidien doesn’t feel like a chain cafe/bakery. The large interior is expertly laid out and decorated to make it feel cozy. Outdoor seating is available during warm months. Food is delicious, but somewhat pricey for the portions (kinda expected, it’s the UES).

I absolutely love this place. I wish there was one in my town of Tampa but there isn’t and I can’t wait to go back. I love their food, I love their service, and I love their atmosphere. Highly recommend! I also have to commend them because I went there in April of 2021 and they took my temperature before I was allowed to be seated so good going!
