First time at Amato’s, and it won’t be the last. For breakfast, I wanted an egg and cheese muffin with sausage and peppers. Asked if possible as it wasn’t on the menu. Within a few minutes I had a delicious muffin with filled with an egg, creamy cheese, peppers and onion. YUMMY! Thank you Omar for your friendly welcome and for sharing a bit about Amato’s history. Really enjoyed my first visit, looking forward to trying their other menu options as well as getting that muffin again.

The haze Through my eyes
August 26, 2022- I like their meat stuffers so one day I got home and took a few bites and something was starting to form on the back of my teeth. It was parchment paper. I called a couple days later due to work to inform of what happened. The manager didn’t believe me so I told her I’ll come down with a picture (which is parchment in my hand). After she confirmed it was and dont understand how. She made me 6 free herself. I thanked her and went home happy but I took one bit and BAM! Parchment paper which is the picture of the plate. I called Amato’s late afternoon again and spoke with Ms. Manager because I wanted to inform her it happened again and to watch out for the other customers that will order this item. I feel she was getting irritated with me trying to figure out why/how I was eating parchment paper. She said sorry then hung up. I forgot to mention to her that it was the pepperoni. However it was cut parchment stuck to the outside the cooked with the item. I didn’t call back due to Ms. Manager not sounding like she wanted to resolve the situation. So sorry for whoever got meat stuffers. I won’t be ordering from there again.

Called today to ask about delivery— website lists that they close at 7 and I called at 6:10. Someone picked up and very curtly said “amatos in Augusta were closed. Sorry.” I wouldn’t have had a problem with them being closed had the man who picked up not said so in an extremely rude and rushed manner. I could not believe how he spoke to a customer. Makes me never want to order from them again… hope management speaks to whoever picked up the phone.

Garbage pizza. The box says, It’s Real Italian. Still trying to figure that one out. Maybe the box is Italian? You should be ashamed to even call this pizza let alone Real Italian. I’ve had better frozen pizza than this. Waste of money.

Very rude to me while I was door dashing an order for them! Told me how to do my job basically (I have over 700 deliveries and am rated one of the best dashers with a 4.98 rating out of 5 on doordash) I will not be doing any deliveries for them and if you’re dashing I wouldn’t recommend you do any either.

Mmmmm so good! I had to get the original. We make these at home since I live in Ohio and Amato’s is not an option. It had been at least 30 years since I had one and it was just like I remembered! Only 4 stars because even though thr service was quick she didn’t advise if drinks came with my sandwich and I didn’t see prices for the drinks.
