As a person patrizing any establishment of any kind any where I was insulted with the unprofessionalism of the first employee taking my order than running to the back and not submitting h my order. Secondly, another employee comes and retakes my order to only get it completely wrong.The set up was very nice and was familiar to me so atmosphere wasn’t bad until the employees displayed unprofessionalism acting a bit funny.The wait was not too long had my order been correct and fresh.I asked for pounded yam which is closer to white in color it was it was mixed with something .How did they not know I had no food allergies and I asked for my swallow to be pounded yam with my egusi soup with mixed meat.I also got extra dry week old looking fried chicken inwhich never has my egusi been prepared like that here in America or back homeland.Lets not forget my spinach or leaf soup that had none in it but plenty hard meat from maybe 2 days ago or more. Those plantains were so dry ofcoarse pics are on this review.I always do review good or bad so that is why I started taking pics in the beginning never to regret coming in that awful place

This place is now called The Dish and is on Dublin-Granville Road. I have been a patron of this restaurant for over a year and I love their peanut butter soup. I highly recommend this restaurant. They are very friendly and they have excellent food.

I honestly don’t know where to begin; second to none, close to home feeling, feels like I’m eating in my mama’s kitchen. Friendly and professional service, busy at all times, Patience is required due to high demand levels. Amazing food and music, clean and comfortable surroundings. Go for lunch and/or dinner with friends and loved ones, trust me it’s so worth it.

Walked in to order and immediately customer service was horrible , the lady at the register was rude and stale , gave us a menu and told us to ring the bell when ready and walked away. After we placed our order she takes payment immediately and tells us 15 min , end up waiting over half an hour . Get home to find a piece of hair in my food . I take it back and they went back and forth about what it was and how it wasn’t hair (which looked like a piece of weave) .Eventually refunded me . No one I was with enjoyed they’re food , cassava was greasy , no meat , the goat was tuff . Would not recommend

They have no organization. The food taste great but the service is terrible. The youngest girl always has an attitude. They rush you out. You’ll order your food and wait two hours. This is EVERYTIME me and my people come in here. We kept giving them chances. But the service gets worse and worse. And don’t bother to order at 9:00pm. They close at 10pm. But they’ll glare at you, over charge you (more than what your food cost for the inconvenience of ordering when their tired) and then still take an hour for the food to be ready. Like why

So first I went ordered the rice with goat ! They gave me some dry chicken ! So I went back! They gave me the right thing but this time my goat was so BURNT you could taste it in every bite ! I also asked for more pepper sauce and the cashier made it seem like me and my friend had to SHARE sauces even though we were going to TWO different places !I even asked to pay for another sauce and she said share it ! Then proceeded to get the sauce and came back with ginger sauce in a smart way and told me to eat that sauce and that it was better than the pepper sauce ..She had a very smart mouth over the phone when we called and tried to order and she raised her voice because we couldn’t understand what she was saying because she was talking to not only my friend and I but to her background possibly placing orders . I stay across the street and ILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN ! The food was horrible and so was the service ! NEVER AGAIN and I honestly would NOT advice anyone to spend their hard working money there .
