I really wanted to try this place after hearing it was the “best chicken from Korea”. It wasn’t specifically on the menu, but I was able to try both the crispy chicken and the chicken with the signature sauce, I ordered the 18 piece and it was $1 extra to split it half-half. Now, the chicken is pretty good, but in my opinion it might not be the absolute best KFC. There’s some serious contenders out there, and I personally enjoy those more.

If you are craving for Korean chicken, you should try this place. The crispy original chicken was really good.

This is a decent, clean place to hang out. But the food is mid and the service is just so so. I’ve been to another Pelicana and it was way better. Probably won’t come back to this one.

We had to wait a long time for our food. And the chicken was very disappointing. They bear the Pelicana name, but the one in Buena Park is much better.

Excellent service, cleanliness, and attention. The chicken was pretty good, not mind blowing, but very carefully made and SUPER JUICY. Tried the signature and soy boneless versions; the signature was definitely a bit more tasty due to the sauce coating. The soy lacked the usual soy chicken flavor, it was a little too weak in the taste department, but the crunchy coating was fabulous. The white raddish was terrible, not sure if it was old, but it was very sour and didn’t taste right. The cabbage salad was fresh and the dressing was decent. All in all, worth trying at least once and judge for yourself since everyone has different taste buds. It wasn’t for us, though we really wanted to like it, the service was great!

Didn’t really understand why they would allow me to order the 18piece with my choice of two sauces but only toss half the chicken in one of the sauces while the other half had to come with the sauce on the side. You do realize literally every other tossed chicken restaurant that lets you choose multiple sauces will toss the entire order. Some of them will even do it for cheaper. This makes absolutely no sense. America has no shortage of fried chicken restaurants. That policy will have to change if you’re looking to be a success. The speed of your service will have to change as well. We were the only group ordering to eat onsite and while the side dishes came quick, our chicken took entirely too long to reach our table. I say stick with bbq chicken folks.

They were limited in chicken + sauce combinations. We wanted Fried Boneless + Hot Chili but that combination wasn’t available for some reason, even though regular Fried Chicken was available with Hot Chili. The chicken pieces were a good size.

I had original fried chicken with signature sauce. Sauce was good but fried chicken was hard and chewy. I feel like they refried pre-made one. I was excited to try here because Pelicana used to be my favorite chicken place in Korea. Disappointed.
