I was spending the night in Sparta Illinois and was looking for a Mexican restaurant with good reviews. I found that Percy Illinois was about 15 miles away from where I was staying. When I got there I was a little surprised by the size of the restaurant. However, the food, service, and friendly waitress made my drive worth it. I will plan on going back the next time I stay in Sparta Illinois.

This little restaurant has great food and excellent service. The ingredients were fresh and the poblano sauce is a must try. The building is older and a little run down on the outside, but the inside was very clean and the food was authentic. I’m pretty picky when it comes to food and most restaurants never make the 5 star grade. Well today I found one.

We live about 10 min away and order food to go from here often. Great tasting food. I get the Pollo California almost every time because chicken bathed in chorizo and cheese is the way to go. Friendly staff and good prices.

Best place in Southern Illinois hands down no questions asked!!!! You want delicious fresh authentic Mexican food come to Mi Pueblo! I assure you, you won’t regret it and you’ll be back the cheese dip OMG Fabulous the Rodeo Burrito yummy the Maura Dish lord it’s all really really delicious Go and be your own judge I’ll be going back from Chicago this month I wish I was closer because it’s delicious I haven’t found a place near close to their food here in Chicago they are unique!!!
