I’m giving this place two stars only because of the service, otherwise, the food here was not worth the 30-min drive. We ordered mix vegetable pakoras which were okay. For entrees, ordered vegetable makhani and chicken kadai. While the veg dish was good, the chicken dish was absolutely garbage. In no way on earth this is chicken kadai. Mind you, this place is extremely expensive as well, the chicken dish alone was like $18 bucks which was such a waste. I don’t remember if we had to order rice separately, so check with you server if you need to order them separate. Another disappointing experience with another Indian restaurant in MN.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in the twin cities region. I discovered it a few years ago when they were serving doses, which they don’t have anymore, but even without the doses the food is pretty great. The spice levels are accurate, so if you asked for hot it really will be quite spicy.

Hands down one of the best and pleasant experiences for eating Indian food. Their food is absolutely delicious my husband and I ordered the kids sampler appetizer as well as the garlic naan, butter chicken, and chicken tikka masala. All finger liking amazing!! My husband got a beer here and it was served cold in a chilled glass cup. The customer service was phenomenal. Definitely saving this restaurant to my favorites!

The portions are small for the price. Not moneys worth. We ordered chicken malai kebab which was $18 and came which were like 5 small pieces. I’ve never seen a Indian restaurant this stingy with portions. The food taste is average . Very disappointed, won’t be ordering from here again. Should note that the Mango lassi tasted great

Delicious food, had the Samosa appetizer and will definitely be getting them again. The bread was amazing and I had enough to take home for later of my chicken dish so the portions are excellent!

Excellent food. They brought out freshly baked naan 45 seconds after I sat down. I went for a weekday lunch buffet and was pleasantly surprised to find the food more spice than my two regular stops in Eden Prairie. The flavor and freshness is very good. For a reasonable price there was 1 large entre buffet and a small desert buffet. The staff was friendly and greeted me at the door.

The food was incredibly fresh tasting. The waiter walked me through the menu offering suggestions, as this was my first time eating Indian food. I’m not too big on spicy food, so he said I could get mine a little on the mild side. So many different flavors, textures, and scents. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I plan to visit during their buffet hours so I can try a little of everything.

Overall good place. We ate at the buffet. Limited selection of masalas, rice was old, however, their butter chicken was outstanding and their bread was hot off the grill. They had a variety of tests from North and South India. Give it a shot.

Pretty solid flavor and well made naans. They really skimp on meat, my tandoori chicken maybe had 2-2.5ozs of chicken in it. Additionally the spice level was a 1/10 which makes it the most mild Indian food I’ve ever had in my life.

I tried India Bar and grill in chaska couple years back and then the quality and taste wasn’t great. First impression is always the best and hence I stopped going there. Recently I visited again to give a second chance and I was pretty impressed with the quality of food and courteous staff. Ordered Biryani, Goat and fish fry. They make grilled fish with spices which is Tamil Nadu speciality and I loved it, especially served on banana leaf. Been there twice recently and have not been disappointed. Give it a try.
