This restaurant is currently in my top faves, for sure. Not only was the food exceptional, but Chef Abe Mota kept bringing out extra sauce & asking if there was anything else we needed. He & his family have a gem with this one. Everything was top tier & the tortillas?! Heavenly. The best I’ve ever had…period. Mexican food wasn’t even in my favorite cuisine list until trying Las Ahogadas. You have to try the Tacos De Canasta, Birria Cheese Bowl, & Torta Ahogada. When I say GOOD?! GOOD-T!!!!!!!!!!!! What are you waiting for?! GO!

First torta we ever tried and it was pretty good. Super flavorful, the torta just soaked all the juice and sauce. It was quite a morning starting off with that meal. The spice level was just right and the meat was tender and oozing with juices. Going to come back for sure.

I loved this place. The torta was good maybe just more meat lol. the burrito was great. Just the quesadilla needs to be cook in lower heat because the cheese wasn’t melted . overall great for the price and service

Bread was like a rock!!! Ordered lonche caliente and it was stale and tasteless!!! Would not recommend at all, unless you want your teeth broken! I would give zero stars if possible with the worlds worst review! AVOID!!!!!

Highly do NOT recommend. They always say they don’t have food when clearly they do, you see guys bringing in the supplies needed and they say no because they are lazy. I go to tortas ahogadas el rey in Huntington park, everything is much better there! Even the service is amazing, these women just give you nasty attitude and refuse to serve people until 12-2pm

They were popping out orders of tacos, after my order was taken, then served me a skimpy torta, with little meat, that was soggy, cause they used the wrong bread, and the salsa was not spicey the way it should be for a torta ahogada, will never eat there again, big thumbs down
