We wanted to try something near our B&B and this was very close. The staff was very friendly and they had fast service despite the staff shortage. It was not busy at all when we first arrived. It filled up with a huge party as we were leaving. The food was so delicious! If you pay cash instead of with a card, you get 5% off your bill.

This new restaurant is a great addition to Shelbyville. The Chicken Pesto sandwich and Chicken Parm sandwich were both cooked perfectly. The meatballs could have had more seasoning to make them stand out in the Pomodoro sauce.

NOTE: The owner and Chef Joey Spumoni LaMattina reached out to me and explained some issues at the restaurant. I will be making another visit to sample HIS cooking versus what was served when we visited (not his cooking or recipes). The sign of a good business…where the owner cares!!! We went by after seeing the article in the newspaper. Very friendly staff, were seated immediately. We ordered the meat pizza. It was great! Lots of meat toppings and great crust. The owner came out and welcomed us and asked how we liked the food. Great Shelbyville addition!

Very good clean restaurant. My kids love the meals and my husband and I enjoy the quiet atmosphere. The feel is laid back and relaxed, you can come in church clothes or your work jeans. The menu is limited due to the Covid affected supply chain and staffing – but we have never ever felt like there wasn’t enough choices. We have liked everything we have tried.

This is some of the best Italian food we have had and we are from California where there are Italian Restaurants galore. Both my husband and I enjoyed our meal and the bread is yummy. The food and service was 5 star but they only got 4 from me because they have “no” wine.

Place is OVER PRICED FOR THE FOOD OFFERED. everyone in my party ordered something different we all were unsatisfied my husband said we can just make this food at home have leftover it taste better and have leftover. Hi came in tonight and met the owner very proud man very nice told him my story about canolis liked that he didn’t have annoying signs on his door it was about supporting local instead liked his spinach lasgna n ravolis were good garlic nots too. I see other people posting negative reviews but they probally eat cheap itaialno food this was hands down good I am from chicago and know good food. Thank you was nice meeting you
