Beat steak house in the area (big area, including SF bay area!) Medium rare ribeye cut is our favorite. At this location (Tracy) steaks come out just as we ordered. Perfectly grilled with the right flavor! The simple sides are awesome with the steaks! Use the app to get in line prior to arrival is the way to save time waiting at the restaurant. Chris is our server this time and was attentive and quick with the legendary bread and drink refills! Also made sure our steaks were grilled to our liking! I grew up on steaks, Texas Roadhouse will be my only recommendation to eat steak (away from actually having steak in Texas!)

Took my husband out for his birthday here, and it was one of the best decisions ever made. We were icky about the wait time, but it’s a good thing we got there before others arrived because parking is hard to get and was seated almost immediately after checking in. Loved the rice, and their bread rolls with their butter were delicious!

This food is excellent and the presentation is great. The service is very good and the atmosphere is nice whoever extremely busy. Even though the place is constantly packed the system they have in place keeps things moving and the food is worth any effort made on your part. I recommend that you download and use their app to check in while you are driving to the place to minimize your wait time. The parking at the Tracy location to terrible but there is plenty of room for parking at the Modesto location. If you are located between the two restaurant locations I would say go to the Modesto location simply because of the parking situation. UPDATE: I had to reduce my rating due to my last visit. The young lady checking people in lost my place in line even though I used the app to check in. She seemed more interested in speaking to her friends then doing the job she was hired for. EXTREMELY disappointed as a frequent customer.

The food item that Texas Roadhouse is mainly known for is there lovely bread roll and their cinnamon butter, but their steaks and burgers aren’t two shabby as well. We got a 12 and 16oz ribeye, a burger, their grilled shrimp skewers and some cheese fries and everything was pretty solid!

Went twice. Food in general is salty, to very salty, chili, rice, shrimp, blossom, dips. Can’t really eat everything that was paid for. It is the main reason it will not be in my top list. Food would have been better if not too salty. The drinks just neutralized the saltiness. Was not able to finish the food, not even wanted to take home the left overs. Bread though is super good. Cece, our server, was polite and smiling, trying to be patient, although obviously, it was very busy. Place is loud, music over powers what the staff was announcing for, hard to understand. We went to the Tracy location on Sunday March 5th to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We arrived just before 4:00 p.m. to try to avoid the dinner rush. We only had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. I thought we would have to wait at least an hour so that was very pleasing. Everything was on point! The cheesy bacon fries were awesome. My wife and I got the filet with baked potato; Remarkably delicious and cooked to perfection! We brought our own birthday cake and the staff kept it in the fridge until we were ready and brought it out on a platter. They even saved the box so we could take the leftovers home! Xavier was our server and he did an outstanding job!
