Pancake Cafe is a fun local dinner in a great area in Madison. The staff was friendly friendly and well-trained as servers. The items on the menu are good yet flexible! It’s great for kids however I wish it was more busy and more attention paid to the interior!

Came in for breakfast not many people here service was extremely slow. Ordered a bloody mary and it was so gross couldn’t even drink it. Son ordered sourdough toast and it came out soggy and barely toasted. crepes tasted like nothing but cinnamon. overall food was horrible and not worth the price. waited over 15 mins for check after finished eating.

We went after my grandsons hockey game. The restaurant was recommended to us for breakfast. It was a good choice. The food was good, wait staff friendly & it was clean. I had the corned beef hash breakfast & my grandson had a Belgian waffle (with a side of fries). I’d definitely go back there to eat.

Had the eggs and thick cut bacon with hash browns and pancakes. Food was pretty good although one of the over easy eggs was cooked through. Staff was welcoming and friendly, service was quick. Bathroom were clean. Would recommend!

The pancakes are pretty good (which makes sense considering the name), and their bacon is phenomenal. I did get some corned beef hash as well, and I was quite disappointed with that. It was very dry and didn’t have a whole lot of flavor to it. If you fed it to me without me being able to see what it was, the last thing on my mind would be corned beef hash. Otherwise the staff was quite friendly and it is a nice place to enjoy a meal at. If you have to use the restroom though ask one of the stores nearby if they have one because the bathrooms here were beyond dirty. (There were poop stains on the walls) At least that’s what it was like in the men’s bathroom.

Service was quick and friendly. My order was taken and brought out with in 10 min. I had mild butter pan cakes which were ok. My hash browns were prefect; chrispy and done. The portion size was bigger than my belly could hold and the price was average for breakfast. Over all 4/5.
